Frame Your Credentials Around Contract Management
SBM's Customer Program Manager roles emphasize multi-site client accountability and service delivery metrics. Translate your academic or international experience into those terms on your resume before you apply, using outcome-driven language tied to contract scope and client retention.
Target Postings Tied to Facility Operations
SBM staffs Customer Program Managers against specific client accounts in janitorial, maintenance, and facility services. Filter open roles by operational sector rather than title alone so you're applying to postings that reflect active client contracts, not placeholder requisitions.
Confirm OPT or CPT Eligibility Before Your First Interview
SBM actively hires on F-1 OPT and CPT for program management functions. Before your first interview, verify your remaining OPT days or confirm your CPT authorization period covers the expected start date so you can state your work authorization timeline clearly when asked.
Browse Verified Sponsoring Employers on Migrate Mate
Search Migrate Mate to surface Customer Program Manager openings at SBM Management Services filtered by visa type. Applying through a curated board removes guesswork about whether a specific posting is tied to a role SBM has historically sponsored.
Raise H-1B Filing Timelines Early in Negotiations
H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start. If your OPT expires before October and SBM is your H-1B sponsor, confirm the cap-gap provision applies to your situation so there's no gap in your work authorization during USCIS processing.
Understand the LCA Requirement Before Your Offer Letter
SBM must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before submitting your H-1B petition. Ask your HR contact where the role sits in that process once you reach the offer stage, since LCA certification timelines affect when your official start date can be set.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does SBM Management Services sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Program Managers?
Yes, SBM Management Services has sponsored H-1B visas for Customer Program Manager roles. Sponsorship for this function reflects the company's need to retain qualified program management talent within its facilities and outsourcing operations. Candidates should confirm sponsorship availability for a specific posting during the recruiter screen, as not every open role is tied to an active sponsorship commitment.
How do I apply for Customer Program Manager jobs at SBM Management Services?
You can find and apply for Customer Program Manager openings at SBM Management Services through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship type so you can target roles that match your work authorization. When applying, tailor your resume to SBM's service delivery context, emphasizing multi-site client management, operational reporting, and contract performance experience relevant to facilities and outsourcing environments.
Which visa types does SBM Management Services commonly use for Customer Program Manager hires?
SBM Management Services sponsors H-1B visas and also hires Customer Program Managers on F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT. TN visa sponsorship is also available for qualifying Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible professional categories. The right visa type depends on your nationality, degree field, and where you are in your authorization timeline, so clarify which pathway applies to your situation early in the process.
What qualifications does SBM Management Services expect for Customer Program Manager roles?
SBM typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field, combined with direct experience managing client accounts or service contracts. Familiarity with KPI reporting, multi-site coordination, and vendor or subcontractor oversight is valued given the facilities and outsourcing context. Program management certifications can strengthen an application but are generally not a hard requirement.
How do I plan my timeline when pursuing H-1B sponsorship through SBM Management Services?
The H-1B lottery registration window opens in March and cap-subject petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start date. If you're on F-1 OPT, the cap-gap rule may allow you to continue working while your petition is pending. Coordinate with SBM's HR team well before the March window to ensure your I-129 petition can be prepared, filed, and processed in time.
