Tailor your resume to SBM's contracts
SBM operates in facility services and outsourced operations, so frame your Customer Operations Manager experience around managing service delivery teams, client account oversight, and performance metrics rather than generic management language.
Verify your OPT timing before applying
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your remaining authorized period covers SBM's typical onboarding timeline. H-1B cap-gap protection applies if your lottery petition is filed before OPT expires, buying you critical runway.
Ask directly about LCA filing timelines
Before accepting an offer, ask SBM's HR team when they expect to file the Labor Condition Application with DOL. A certified LCA must precede any H-1B petition, so confirming this timeline protects your start date.
Target SBM's multi-site operations roles
SBM consistently posts Customer Operations Manager openings across multiple regions. Applying to roles tied to large, ongoing service contracts rather than project-based positions gives you better long-term sponsorship continuity.
Prepare documentation of client-facing metrics
USCIS scrutinizes specialty occupation eligibility for operations roles. Bring offer letters, performance reviews, and employer verifications that show your work requires a degree-level understanding of operations management, not just supervisory experience.
Use Migrate Mate to find open positions
Search Migrate Mate to filter Customer Operations Manager openings at SBM Management Services by visa type. You can identify which postings explicitly mention sponsorship before you invest time in a full application.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does SBM Management Services sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Operations Managers?
Yes, SBM Management Services has sponsored H-1B visas for Customer Operations Manager roles. Sponsorship is typically tied to a confirmed job offer and requires SBM to file a Labor Condition Application with DOL and then submit Form I-129 to USCIS. Sponsorship decisions are made on a role-by-role basis, so confirming with the hiring team early in the process is the right move.
How do I apply for Customer Operations Manager jobs at SBM Management Services?
You can browse and apply for Customer Operations Manager openings at SBM Management Services through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship type. Applications generally require a current resume, and roles often move through phone screening before a panel or hiring manager interview. Flagging your visa status early in the process helps SBM's HR team route your application correctly.
Which visa types does SBM Management Services support for Customer Operations Managers?
SBM Management Services has sponsored H-1B visas and has also hired candidates on F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN status for Customer Operations Manager roles. TN eligibility applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management or professional categories. If you're on OPT, confirm that your remaining authorized period and any cap-gap window align with SBM's hiring timeline before accepting an offer.
What qualifications does SBM Management Services expect for Customer Operations Managers?
SBM typically looks for a bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field, combined with experience managing service delivery teams in outsourced or facility services environments. Client account management, KPI reporting, and cross-functional coordination are common requirements. Because USCIS evaluates specialty occupation status for H-1B petitions, having a degree that directly maps to your job duties strengthens both your candidacy and your visa petition.
How long does the sponsorship process take for a Customer Operations Manager at SBM?
For H-1B sponsorship, the process begins with DOL certifying the Labor Condition Application, which typically takes seven business days under standard processing. USCIS then adjudicates the I-129 petition, which can take several months under regular processing or as little as a few weeks with premium processing. Cap-subject H-1B petitions are subject to the annual lottery, so timing your offer relative to the April 1 filing window matters.
