INTRODUCTION
SentiLink provides innovative identity and risk solutions, empowering institutions and individuals to transact with confidence. We’re building the future of identity verification in the United States, replacing a clunky, ineffective, and expensive status quo with solutions that are 10x faster, smarter, and more accurate. We’ve seen tremendous traction and are growing extremely quickly. Our real-time APIs have helped verify hundreds of millions of identities, starting with financial services and rapidly expanding into new markets. SentiLink is backed by world-class investors including Craft Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, NYCA, and Max Levchin. We’ve earned recognition from TechCrunch, CNBC, Bloomberg, Forbes, Business Insider, PYMNTS, American Banker, LendIt, and have been named to the Forbes Fintech 50 list every year since 2023. Last but not least, we’ve even made history - we were the first company to go live with the eCBSV and testified before the United States House of Representatives on the future of identity. SentiLink supports a variety of ways to work, ranging from fully remote to in-office. We operate as a digital-first company with strong collaboration across the U.S. and India. We maintain physical offices in Austin, San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Chicago in the U.S., and in Gurugram (Delhi) and Bengaluru in India. If you’re located near one of these offices, we would love for you to spend time in the office regularly. Some roles are hybrid or in-office by design. For example, our engineering team in India works primarily from our Gurugram office.
ROLE
We are seeking an AI Strategy and Process Lead to institutionalize the use of AI across core business processes. The mission of this role is to create increasing scale on costs by systematically identifying, implementing, and measuring AI-enabled improvements that drive meaningful productivity gains. Starting with two pilot functions, this leader will design a repeatable framework for AI opportunity identification, deployment, governance, and performance measurement. Success in this role will be defined by sustained, measurable improvements in cost efficiency, cycle time, and quality — and by building an internal capability that enables responsible, scalable AI adoption across the organization.
Responsibilities
AI Opportunity Identification and Prioritization:
- Partner with functional leaders to identify high-leverage processes suitable for AI enablement.
- Map workflows, quantify baseline performance (cost, time, quality), and prioritize opportunities based on ROI and feasibility.
- Develop clear business cases for AI investments, including expected impact and risks.
Implementation and Execution:
- Lead end-to-end deployment of AI tools and workflow redesign across pilot functions.
- Redesign processes to embed AI natively rather than layering tools onto existing inefficiencies.
- Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure adoption, training, and operational continuity.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and risk standards.
Measurement and Performance Management:
- Define standardized metrics to assess AI impact (e.g., cost per unit, throughput, error rates, headcount leverage).
- Establish dashboards and reporting cadences to track performance.
- Deliver sustained productivity improvements in pilot processes, with documented performance over at least six months.
- Present regular updates to executive leadership on outcomes, risks, and expansion opportunities.
Framework and Capability Building:
- Develop and document a repeatable AI evaluation and implementation framework.
- Create internal playbooks, governance guidelines, and training materials for responsible AI usage.
- Establish an intake process for AI ideas across the company.
- Expand the program beyond initial pilots as results are validated.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in process transformation, operations, automation, or strategic initiatives in a high-growth environment.
- Demonstrated success delivering measurable productivity, cost, or quality improvements.
- Strong analytical capability with comfort defining metrics and evaluating ROI.
- Practical familiarity with AI tools, workflow automation platforms, and modern productivity systems.
- Experience operating in regulated or data-sensitive environments is preferred.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive adoption without direct authority.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with executive audiences.
This role is suited for a builder who combines operational rigor with pragmatic technical fluency. The focus is not experimentation for its own sake, but durable productivity gains and scalable institutional capability.
COMPENSATION
$140,000 - $220,000/year + equity + benefits
Note: This salary range is inclusive of multiple career levels, and the actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's education, experience, skills, and qualifications.
PERKS
- Employer paid group health insurance for you and your dependents
- 401(k) plan with employer match (or equivalent for non US-based roles)
- Flexible paid time off
- Regular company-wide in-person events
- Home office stipend, and more!
CORPORATE VALUES
- Follow Through
- Deep Understanding
- Whatever It Takes

Frame your ML portfolio around fraud detection
SentiLink's products center on identity risk and synthetic fraud. Tailor your GitHub projects, papers, or case studies to show anomaly detection, classification at scale, or signal modeling. Reviewers notice when your background maps directly to their problem space.
Verify your OPT or TN timeline before applying
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your STEM extension eligibility and remaining authorized days before your first interview. SentiLink has sponsored TN for qualifying Canadian and Mexican nationals, so know which treaty category your ML role fits before the offer stage.
Target roles requiring production ML experience
SentiLink's engineering positions consistently emphasize building and deploying models in production, not just research. Highlight distributed training pipelines, model monitoring, and latency-sensitive inference work. These details move your application past the initial screen at a company this stage.
Ask about PERM timing during the offer stage
If your goal is a Green Card through EB-2 or EB-3, raise it before you sign. Ask the recruiter whether the company initiates PERM concurrently with your first H-1B year. Early clarity prevents a situation where sponsorship support stalls after your initial status expires.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open AI ML roles
Sponsorship-willing employers can be hard to identify from standard job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter SentiLink's AI ML Engineering openings by visa type, so you only spend time on roles where your status is already a confirmed fit.
Prepare a degree equivalency brief for USCIS
H-1B specialty occupation petitions require your degree to align with the specific ML role. If your undergraduate field differs from computer science or statistics, document how your coursework or credentials map to the position before USCIS requests evidence of equivalency.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does SentiLink sponsor H-1B visas for AI ML Engineers?
SentiLink has a history of sponsoring work visas for technical roles, and H-1B visa is the most common pathway for AI ML Engineering positions at U.S. technology companies. Because H-1B approvals depend on the annual lottery, it's worth confirming the company's specific approach to cap-subject filings and whether they support premium processing during your offer negotiation.
Which visa types are commonly used for AI ML Engineering roles at SentiLink?
SentiLink has sponsored across multiple visa categories for technical talent, including F-1 OPT (and STEM OPT extension), TN visa for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals working in qualifying computer science roles, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. The right category depends on your citizenship, degree field, and how long you need authorization before a Green Card petition matures.
What qualifications or experience does SentiLink expect for AI ML Engineering roles?
SentiLink's ML roles consistently require hands-on experience building and deploying models in production environments, not just academic or research work. Familiarity with fraud detection, identity verification, or risk modeling is a strong differentiator. Most posted roles expect proficiency in Python, experience with large-scale data pipelines, and comfort working in cross-functional product teams.
How do I apply for AI ML Engineering jobs at SentiLink?
Browse current AI ML Engineering openings at SentiLink through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm your status is supported before applying. Once you identify a role, apply directly through SentiLink's careers page and tailor your resume to highlight production ML systems, relevant domain experience, and any prior work with fraud or identity data.
How do I manage the timeline from offer to work authorization at SentiLink?
Timeline depends heavily on your current status. F-1 OPT holders can begin work immediately if authorization is active, but should track their OPT expiration and STEM extension window carefully. H-1B cap filings open each March for an October 1 start, so a spring offer may require a gap or a cap-exempt bridge arrangement. TN status can typically be obtained at the port of entry within days of receiving a qualifying offer letter.
