We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician 2 to join our team. Under minimal supervision, the Maintenance Technician 2 is responsible for performing intermediate-level installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment to ensure continuous and safe operation of systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform intermediate-level maintenance work, including installation and upkeep of machines and equipment, unscheduled/emergency repairs, and preventive maintenance as directed.
- Conduct electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general construction-related maintenance.
- Diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, and perform adjustments and functional testing.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders to determine work procedures.
- Communicate repair progress and equipment status to supervisors or lead technicians as necessary.
- Identify and report defective materials, faulty operations, and unusual situations to the team lead.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, meters, and material handling equipment.
- Collaborate with and provide backup support to team members across the departments to meet operational goals and deadlines.
- Utilize hands-on experience with PLC Programming and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) operation, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, both verbal and written.
- Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Must maintain any required state licenses or certifications relevant to the position.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, reach overhead and side-to-side, and perform other physical tasks as needed to carry out job responsibilities.
- Requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- This position may involve extended periods of standing and working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and wind.
- Must be able to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, during peak production seasons.
- Must be available to work any assigned shift based on operational needs.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment effectively and safely.
PAY RANGE: $25.57 - $28.57
