Frame your clinical knowledge as business value
Stryker's Customer Success roles sit at the intersection of clinical education and account retention. Highlighting experience training clinicians on medical devices or managing post-sale support in healthcare settings signals readiness for the role before sponsorship even comes up.
Target roles tied to specific product divisions
Stryker's Customer Success openings are often scoped to a product line, such as orthopedics, neurovascular, or surgical equipment. Applying to a division where your background matches the device category strengthens your case and shortens the time from interview to offer.
Clarify your visa category early in recruiter conversations
H-1B and TN eligibility depend on your role being classified as a specialty occupation. For Customer Success at Stryker, a degree in biomedical engineering, life sciences, or a related field reinforces that classification. Raise your status clearly so recruiters can loop in HR before extending an offer.
Understand when PERM filing affects your timeline
If you're targeting a Green Card through EB-2 or EB-3, PERM labor certification requires Stryker to run a supervised recruitment process through DOL. This process typically takes 12 to 18 months, so asking about the company's green card sponsorship policy during the offer stage is practical, not premature.
Use Migrate Mate to find active Customer Success openings at Stryker
Sponsorship-eligible roles at large medical device companies aren't always labeled clearly on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter for Customer Success positions at Stryker that align with your visa type and avoid spending time on listings that won't support sponsorship.
Align your OPT or CPT start date with Stryker's onboarding cycles
F-1 students using OPT have a 60-day grace period once employment ends. Stryker typically onboards in cohorts tied to fiscal quarters. Confirm your OPT authorization dates match the intended start date before signing an offer to avoid gaps that require amended USCIS filings.

Find Customer Success at Stryker JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Stryker sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Success?
Yes, Stryker sponsors H-1B visas for Customer Success roles where the position qualifies as a specialty occupation. Roles requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as biomedical engineering, life sciences, or business, typically meet that standard. You'll want to confirm the specific role's requirements with the recruiter before the offer stage, as job titles and degree requirements vary across Stryker's product divisions.
How do I apply for Customer Success jobs at Stryker?
You can apply directly through Stryker's careers site or find verified sponsorship-eligible openings on Migrate Mate. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific product division, such as orthopedics or neurovascular, and highlight any experience supporting clinical users or managing post-sale relationships in a healthcare or medical device context. Sponsorship requirements are best raised during the recruiter screening call, not in the application itself.
Which visa types does Stryker commonly sponsor for Customer Success roles?
Stryker sponsors H-1B visas for full-time Customer Success positions and supports TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying specialty occupations. F-1 OPT and CPT are accommodated for students transitioning into the workforce. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, Stryker has sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways through PERM labor certification, though green card sponsorship is typically offered after an employee has been in role for a period of time.
What qualifications does Stryker expect for Customer Success roles?
Stryker's Customer Success positions generally require a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, clinical or technical familiarity with medical devices, and experience managing relationships with healthcare professionals or hospital systems. Roles supporting surgical or implant products often prefer candidates with hands-on clinical exposure. Strong communication skills and the ability to train end users on device usage are consistently valued across the function.
How do I time my H-1B sponsorship with a Customer Success offer from Stryker?
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed once per year, with USCIS accepting registrations in March for an October 1 start date. If you receive an offer outside that window and aren't already H-1B exempt, you may need to bridge status using OPT or a cap-exempt pathway. Confirming your current visa status and any remaining authorized stay with Stryker's HR team early in the process prevents offer timelines from colliding with USCIS filing deadlines.
