Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Operations Jobs at TD Securities Jobs
Align your credentials to capital markets operations
TD Securities operations roles typically require familiarity with trade lifecycle, fixed income settlements, or derivatives processing. Document your experience with specific asset classes on your resume before applying, since generalist operations backgrounds are harder to place at a capital markets firm.
Target roles by operations function specifically
TD Securities posts operations openings across distinct functions like trade settlements, collateral management, and reconciliation. Applying to the function that matches your exact background improves your chances of clearing initial screening and reaching a hiring manager who can champion your sponsorship case.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open operations positions
TD Securities lists operations roles across multiple locations and business lines at any given time. Browse verified sponsorship-eligible openings on Migrate Mate to identify which teams are actively hiring and which visa types they have filed for in this function.
Understand the E-3 advantage if you're Australian
TD Securities sponsors the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and can be filed directly at a U.S. consulate without waiting for an October start date. If you hold Australian citizenship, this pathway is faster than H-1B and worth raising explicitly during offer negotiations.
Ask about Labor Condition Application timing at offer stage
Before accepting an offer, confirm your start date against the LCA filing window. DOL requires LCA certification before any H-1B or E-3 petition can proceed, and TD Securities' legal team will need time to prepare the prevailing wage determination for your specific operations role and work location.
Prepare for a multi-round technical interview process
Operations interviews at TD Securities often include a technical screen on trade settlement workflows or reconciliation break resolution alongside behavioral rounds. Gaps in systems knowledge, particularly around platforms like Bloomberg or Broadridge, can raise flags that indirectly complicate the sponsorship conversation.

Find Operations at TD Securities JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does TD Securities sponsor H-1B visas for Operations roles?
Yes, TD Securities sponsors H-1B visas for Operations positions. Because H-1B sponsorship is employer-initiated, your offer letter will trigger the process, which includes a DOL Labor Condition Application and USCIS petition filing. New H-1B cap-subject cases require lottery selection, so timing your job search ahead of the March registration window is practical if you're not already in H-1B status.
How do I apply for Operations jobs at TD Securities?
Apply directly through TD Securities' careers portal and filter by function for operations-related openings. You can also use Migrate Mate to browse verified TD Securities operations roles that have an active visa sponsorship history, which helps you prioritize the positions most likely to support an H-1B, E-3, or Green Card filing from the start.
Which visa types does TD Securities commonly use for Operations professionals?
TD Securities sponsors H-1B, E-3, and employment-based Green Card categories including EB-2 and EB-3 for Operations roles. The E-3 is available exclusively to Australian citizens and bypasses the H-1B lottery. EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship typically becomes available after you've been in role for a defined period and is initiated by the employer through the PERM labor certification process.
What qualifications does TD Securities look for in Operations candidates seeking sponsorship?
Operations roles at TD Securities generally require a bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field, combined with hands-on experience in trade settlements, derivatives operations, or reconciliation workflows. Familiarity with capital markets products and back-office systems strengthens your profile. For H-1B eligibility, your degree must be in a specialty field that directly relates to the operations function you're being hired for.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for an Operations hire at TD Securities?
For an E-3, the process from LCA filing to visa stamp can take four to eight weeks depending on consulate availability. For an H-1B, cap-subject petitions have an October 1 start date, meaning offers accepted after the March lottery may involve a wait of several months. Premium processing is available through USCIS for a faster adjudication decision, though your employer must agree to request it.
