Administrative Coordinator-BSN and HP Programs

Position Summary
The Administrative Coordinator for the BSN and HP Programs is responsible for providing administrative and operations support to the BSN and HP Programs’ Administration, faculty members, and students. The Administrative Coordinator for the BSN and HP Programs reports to the Dean, School of Nursing and Health Professions.

Essential Job Duties
- Leads, manages and coordinates all administrative operations to optimize the BSN and HP programs, school and university initiatives (enrollment, recruitment and retention of students).
- Collaborates with key personnel within the Dean’s suite to optimize program operations.
- Meets regularly with BSN and Health Professions’ Program Administrators to provide initial consultation, and insights.
- Coordinates with essential UIW departments to provide support for students (IT, Student Health Services, Financial Aid, Admissions, and Simulation Lab Team).
- Evaluates and manages the needs of the program for process improvements.
- Communicates timely with students, departments, and university officials.
- Oversees integrity of academic program including correspondence for student admissions, progression, academic probation and dismissals.
- Ensures student onboarding, credentialing, compliance with background checks, in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Partnerships, Marketing, and Compliance.
- Assists with admission articulations for candidate screening.
- Collects, manages and analyzes data on enrollment, retention, revenue, GPAs, etc. for annual program reports/assessments and program reviews in collaboration with the Associate Dean for Assessment and Faculty Coordinator.
- Ensures compliance with program, university policies and accreditation standards (CCNE) under the supervision of Program Chair and ABSN Director.
- Maintains CRNA program repository for software contracts and documents.
- Creates interview, orientation, info sessions, and graduation event schedules.
- Participates, as needed, in Admissions Committee and Students Affairs Committee work, and provides minutes and agendas, as appropriate.
- Creates an environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds.

- Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.
Required Education
Associates Degree or 60 college hours. Note that up to two (2) years of additional experience may substitute for required education.
Required Work Experience
Four (4) years of administrative/office support experience in a complex office environment. Note that up to 2 (two) years of additional education will be considered for up to 2 (two) years of experience.

Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations
- Must have a valid driver’s license, driving record that is insurable by UIW insurance carrier, and be at least 21 years of age, as required to drive for UIW.
- Valid identification with “Real Id” designation, as required for air travel.
Work Hours
Typical Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with occasional extended hours/weekends to meet departmental needs (including travel) and/or needs of the learning community, with some weeknights and weekends.
Physical Demands
- Ability to actively engage in events for extended periods of time.
- Ability to regularly move about campus, event venues, and recruitment sites to actively engage potential students, as well as attend meetings on and off campus.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs for table set-up/tear-down at events to include reaching overhead, bending, squatting to retrieve office/marketing/events materials.
- Ability to push/pull event carts holding up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to navigate airports with recruiting materials.
