Job Roles at Verisign Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Verisign Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles in internet infrastructure and DNS engineering
Verisign's core business revolves around domain name systems and internet security. Engineers with experience in network infrastructure, distributed systems, or cybersecurity align closely with the technical roles most likely to receive visa sponsorship at Verisign.
Understand that Green Card sponsorship is a real possibility
Verisign has a strong track record of sponsoring permanent residence, not just temporary work visas. If long-term U.S. settlement is your goal, Verisign is worth pursuing, ask about their immigration support policy early in the hiring process.
Confirm H-1B sponsorship directly during the offer stage
Verisign does sponsor H-1B visas, but availability can vary by role and hiring cycle. Raise visa requirements before accepting any offer and confirm in writing that the position is eligible for sponsorship before signing.
Emphasize specialized, hard-to-hire technical expertise
Verisign operates niche, mission-critical systems. Candidates with expertise in DNS protocols, PKI infrastructure, or high-availability network engineering are well positioned, this kind of specialization strengthens the case for sponsorship over a locally available candidate.
Search for Verisign openings on platforms that verify sponsorship history
Not every job listing flags visa sponsorship clearly. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your applications on Verisign roles where sponsorship is actually on the table.
Time your application around H-1B cap season if you're not already in status
If you need a new H-1B, the annual cap registration opens in March. Target Verisign roles in the months before so an offer can be in place before registration closes, late applications may push your start date back a full year.

Does Verisign sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Verisign sponsors H-1B visas for qualified candidates in technical roles. The company operates in a specialized segment of internet infrastructure, and sponsorship is typically concentrated in engineering and technology positions. Availability can vary by role, so confirm sponsorship eligibility directly with the recruiter during the hiring process.
What visa types does Verisign sponsor?
Verisign sponsors both H-1B work visas and permanent residence pathways, including EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card categories. This means candidates can potentially start on a temporary work visa and transition to permanent residence over time, which makes Verisign a strong long-term option for international professionals in technology roles.
Which departments or roles at Verisign are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Verisign is most commonly associated with technical roles in software engineering, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and systems architecture. These areas align with Verisign's core business in domain name systems and internet security, where demand for specialized skills often supports the case for sponsoring international candidates.
How do I find open roles at Verisign that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find Verisign roles that come with verified sponsorship history. You can filter by employer and visa type to see which positions are realistically open to international candidates, rather than applying broadly and discovering sponsorship isn't available after multiple interview rounds.
How do I approach the application process at Verisign as a visa-requiring candidate?
Apply through standard channels and be upfront about your visa requirements early, ideally in the recruiter screen. Verisign has experience with immigration processes, so this won't be unfamiliar territory. If you receive an offer, confirm the sponsorship commitment in writing and ask about their preferred immigration counsel before your start date.
