The Community Fiber Lead focus specializes in developing and leading new partnership alliances that offer Viasat new business opportunities. Develops and supports the strategic business plan for the success of the alliance. Negotiates alliance agreements and maintain ongoing alliance relationships.
The day-to-day
- Identifies and develops key account alliances and relationship programs designed to produce sales opportunities.
- Recruits, develops and leads strategic partner alliances/partnerships and opportunity pipelines and ensures the retention, growth and customer loyalty of accounts. Evangelizes company products in conjunction with recruiting key alliances/partnerships.
- Maintains strong relationships with existing wholesale customers, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer loyalty.
- Works closely with sales, product, finance, legal, and network operations to optimize partner performance and resolve issues.
- Evaluates program trends and provides analysis and recommendations to management. Works toward mutual goals, strategies, and objectives to build awareness and support of overall strategic benefits of the alliance.
- Provides for financial analyses, long-range forecasting and analysis studies associated with potential alliances/partnerships. Monitors programs to assess the sales impact of the solution(s) in the marketplace and the overall success of the alliance.
- Monitors competitor activity in accounts and implements strategies to maintain account ownership and block competitor advancement. Identifies and develops key account alliances and relationship programs designed to produce sales opportunities.
- Industry Experience: 5+ years of demonstrated ability in the broadband, telecommunications, or technology sector, with a consistent track record in strategic partnerships, channel sales, or business development.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Demonstrated success in leading and growing a book of business.
- Strategic Account Management: Experience leading high-value ISP or wholesale broadband partners, developing long-term relationships, and executing complex contracts.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), data analytics, and reporting for tracking sales performance and optimizing partnerships.
- Communication & Presentation: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling business cases and influence key stakeholders.
