Target technical roles first
Voltai's sponsorship activity sits firmly within technology and software. Focus your application on engineering, development, or technical positions, these are the roles most likely to qualify as specialty occupations and meet H-1B requirements.
Highlight OPT or CPT eligibility early
Voltai sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT in addition to H-1B, so if you're a current student or recent graduate, lead with your work authorization status. This signals you can start without waiting on an H-1B approval cycle.
Time your application around H-1B lottery season
H-1B registrations open in March each year. If you're targeting Voltai for full sponsorship, aim to have an offer or advanced conversations in place by February so your employer can file during the registration window.
Use Migrate Mate to verify sponsorship before applying
Not every technology company actively sponsors, confirming before you apply saves time. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and see whether Voltai has active openings right now.
Align your degree with the role's specialty occupation requirement
For H-1B sponsorship at a software company like Voltai, your degree field needs to directly relate to the position. Computer science, software engineering, and related technical disciplines typically satisfy this requirement most cleanly.
Treat OPT as a bridge, not a backup
If Voltai hires you on F-1 OPT, treat the period strategically. Use the time to demonstrate value so the company is motivated to sponsor your H-1B before your OPT authorization expires, proactive communication with HR helps.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Voltai sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Voltai sponsors H-1B visas. The company operates in the technology and software industry, and its sponsored roles have fallen within specialty occupation categories that qualify under H-1B requirements. As a smaller sponsor, competition for available sponsorship slots can be real, making a strong technical case in your application matters.
Which visa types does Voltai sponsor?
Voltai sponsors H-1B visas and supports F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT candidates. This makes it an accessible option for both current students working under campus authorization and recent graduates on post-completion OPT. It does not have a recorded history of sponsoring Green Cards or E-3 visas.
What types of roles at Voltai are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Based on Voltai's industry and sponsorship history, technical and software-focused roles are the most consistent candidates for H-1B sponsorship. Positions in engineering, software development, and related disciplines are most likely to satisfy the specialty occupation standard. Non-technical or generalist roles are less commonly sponsored at companies of this size.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Voltai?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find verified sponsorship opportunities at Voltai. Unlike general job boards, Migrate Mate filters companies by their actual sponsorship track record, so you can browse Voltai's open roles knowing the company has a documented history of sponsoring international candidates.
How do I time my application to Voltai if I need H-1B sponsorship?
The H-1B registration window opens in early March each year, with cap-subject petitions taking effect October 1. To be in a strong position, aim to have conversations with Voltai well before the March deadline, ideally by January or February. If you're on F-1 OPT, you may be able to start sooner while the H-1B petition is pending.
