Must be ONSITE in City of Industry, CA (Monday-Thursday)
The Senior Analyst Network Performance & Excellence is responsible for owning performance visibility and structured improvement across assigned sites or KPI domains within the region. This role serves as the primary driver of performance diagnostics and corrective action planning - translating data into insights, insights into action, and action into measurable impact. This person will partner closely with Site Leaders and Regional Managers to proactively identify risks and eliminate recurring performance gaps.
We are looking for an analytical, action-oriented, and collaborative individual who can translate complex logistics and network data into actionable insights to drive operational excellence. Successful individuals in this role excel at both qualitative and quantitative analysis - moving beyond simple reporting to tell a concise story that influences regional leadership and improves site-level performance.
What You’ll Do
- Own a defined KPI stack (cost, SLA, dwell, utilization) and serve as the primary performance lead for a specific regional portfolio.
- Build dashboards, visualizations, and weekly performance narratives to detect emerging risks and quantify the financial impact of performance gaps.
- Lead structured problem-solving (5 Whys, Pareto, variance decomposition) to separate systemic issues from execution variability.
- Partner with Site Leaders and Regional Managers to drive corrective action plans and ensure initiatives deliver measurable, sustainable impact.
- Conduct ad-hoc deep dives and build advanced reports to translate complex network trends into pointed business recommendations for leadership.
- Improve reporting automation and strengthen the regional operating rhythm by reducing manual processes and harmonizing KPI definitions.
- Engage in road-mapping and prioritization by diligently sizing the impact of performance improvements across sites.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or Statistics).
- 3–6 years of professional experience in operations, supply chain, or performance analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (GBQ), Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI).
- A structured, hypothesis-driven mindset with the ability to conduct deep-dive analyses into material performance gaps.
- Proven ability to influence site leaders without direct authority and communicate clearly with a "team-first" attitude.
- An entrepreneurial spirit with a high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office Policy:

Tailor Your Portfolio to E-Commerce Metrics
Wayfair's BA teams work heavily with conversion funnels, supplier performance data, and merchandising analytics. Before applying, restructure your resume and case studies around e-commerce KPIs like cart abandonment, SKU-level margin, or logistics cost reduction.
Target Roles in High-Sponsorship Business Units
Wayfair's supply chain, pricing, and storefront analytics teams have historically filed for foreign national analysts. Searching by department, not just job title, improves your odds of landing a team already experienced with sponsorship paperwork.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Verified Sponsoring Roles
Not every open BA position at Wayfair will come with sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to browse only the listings where Wayfair has confirmed it sponsors your visa type, so you're not wasting applications on roles that won't support you.
Clarify Your OPT Timeline During Interviews
F-1 OPT gives you up to 12 months of work authorization, extendable to 36 months with a STEM extension for qualifying roles. Wayfair's BA positions often qualify, but confirm the role's SOC code with the recruiter before your offer stage to avoid gaps.
Get Your LCA Certified Before Your Start Date
For H-1B and E-3 transfers or new hires, Wayfair's HR team files the Labor Condition Application with the DOL before USCIS sees your petition. Delays in LCA certification directly push back your start date, so follow up with your internal sponsor contact early.
Prepare SQL and Python Work Samples in Advance
Wayfair's BA interview process typically includes a technical screen involving SQL queries and structured problem-solving on real dataset scenarios. Having a polished, walkable work sample ready signals you can contribute immediately, which matters to hiring managers evaluating sponsorship overhead.

Find Business Analyst at Wayfair JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Wayfair sponsor H-1B visas for Business Analysts?
Yes, Wayfair sponsors H-1B visas for Business Analyst roles. BA positions at Wayfair typically qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS criteria because they require at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant analytical field. Your employer files the H-1B petition on your behalf, so the process begins once you have a signed offer.
Which visa types are commonly used for Business Analyst roles at Wayfair?
Wayfair supports several visa categories for Business Analysts, including H-1B, E-3 for Australian citizens, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals under the USMCA, and F-1 OPT including STEM OPT extensions. For longer-term sponsorship, Wayfair also pursues EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for analysts in continuing roles.
How do I apply for Business Analyst jobs at Wayfair?
You can find open BA positions through Wayfair's careers page or through Migrate Mate, which filters Wayfair's listings specifically for roles where visa sponsorship is available. When applying, tailor your materials to Wayfair's e-commerce context, referencing experience with data analysis, business intelligence tools, and measurable commercial outcomes.
What qualifications does Wayfair expect for Business Analyst roles?
Wayfair's BA roles typically require a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, economics, computer science, or engineering. Proficiency in SQL is expected across most levels, with Python or R preferred for senior roles. Experience interpreting large datasets in a retail or e-commerce environment is a strong differentiator during the interview process.
How do I plan my timeline if Wayfair is sponsoring my H-1B?
The H-1B cap lottery opens in March each year for an October 1 start date. If you're on F-1 OPT when you receive your offer, your OPT authorization bridges the gap while your petition is pending. USCIS premium processing reduces the adjudication window to 15 business days, which Wayfair may elect to use for time-sensitive hires.
