Job Roles at Zayo Group Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Zayo Group Visa Sponsorship USA
Target network and infrastructure roles first
Zayo's core business is fiber infrastructure and connectivity, so network engineering, systems architecture, and cloud integration roles are among the most common sponsored positions. Aligning your application to these technical functions improves your chances of sponsorship consideration.
Highlight specialized technical expertise in your application
Zayo operates in a specialized corner of the Technology and Software industry. Candidates with deep expertise in fiber networking, SDN, or enterprise connectivity are more likely to be seen as difficult to hire domestically, which strengthens the case for sponsorship.
Engage with Zayo's talent team before applying
For visa-sponsored roles, proactively asking a recruiter about sponsorship eligibility before submitting saves time for both sides. Zayo recruiters experienced with international candidates can tell you upfront whether a specific role is sponsorship-eligible.
Use verified sponsorship data when searching for roles
Not every job listing flags visa sponsorship clearly. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you confirm Zayo Group's track record before investing time in an application.
Plan around H-1B cap timelines if you're transitioning from OPT
If you're moving from F-1 OPT to H-1B through Zayo, the April lottery registration window is non-negotiable. Start conversations with Zayo's HR team well before the registration period opens each year to ensure paperwork is ready in time.

Does Zayo Group sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Zayo Group sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an established track record of supporting H-1B petitions for qualified professionals in technical roles. Sponsorship is most common in engineering, network operations, and software-focused positions. If you're targeting Zayo, confirm sponsorship eligibility with the recruiter early in the hiring process, as availability varies by role and team.
Which visa types does Zayo Group sponsor?
Zayo Group sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT visas, and also supports Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 pathways for longer-tenured employees. This range of visa types makes Zayo a practical option for both early-career international candidates and experienced professionals seeking permanent residency over time.
Which departments or roles at Zayo Group are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Zayo Group is most strongly associated with technical functions, including network engineering, systems integration, software development, and cloud infrastructure. These roles align directly with Zayo's fiber and connectivity business and typically require specialized qualifications that support a sponsorship case. Corporate support roles in finance or marketing are less frequently sponsored.
How do I find currently open visa-sponsored jobs at Zayo Group?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find open roles at Zayo Group that come with verified sponsorship history. Rather than sifting through generic job listings that may or may not mention sponsorship, Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically by sponsor and visa type, giving you confidence that Zayo's listed roles reflect real sponsorship activity.
How do I approach the application process at Zayo Group as a visa-sponsored candidate?
Start by identifying roles in Zayo's technical divisions where sponsorship is most common. Reach out to a recruiter before applying to confirm that the specific position is sponsorship-eligible. If you're on OPT or CPT, be transparent about your authorization end date. For H-1B candidates, align your start date expectations to the cap timeline and work closely with Zayo's HR team to keep filings on schedule.
