- Coordinate permit renewals, environmental reporting, and audit schedules to maintain operational continuity.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to site teams, fostering a proactive safety mindset and professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to integrate safety into project design reviews and process safety management (PSM) initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in safety management or environmental oversight, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Advanced proficiency in EHS regulatory frameworks, management systems, and industry-standard compliance trends.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- High level of technical literacy in Microsoft Office and database management for performance tracking.
- Ability to travel up to 50% to support site operations and professional development.
Preferred Skills:
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM.
- Expertise in Process Safety Management (PSM) and conducting HAZOP studies.
- Knowledge of ISO 9000, RC14001, or similar quality and safety management systems.
- Experience with hazardous material response and emergency planning protocols.
