Responsibilities

• Lead the development of detailed project estimates utilizing construction estimating software and industry best practices.
• Prepare comprehensive bid proposals by analyzing plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts while accurately assessing costs related to labor, materials, equipment etc.
• Oversee all aspects of project planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure seamless execution.
• Manage project timelines by creating and maintaining detailed schedules that align with client expectations and resource availability.
• Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project scope and objectives.
• Monitor project progress through site visits and regular meetings; address issues proactively to minimize delays or cost overruns.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control protocols on-site; leverage construction site experience for effective oversight.
• Coordinate procurement activities by sourcing materials efficiently while maintaining cost control; utilize construction management software for tracking.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage change orders to adapt to evolving project requirements while safeguarding profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial construction estimating combined with strong project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Extensive knowledge of contracts, procurement processes, and construction site safety protocols.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent time management capabilities; able to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
• Hands-on experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from start-up through closeout.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients or stakeholders at all levels.

Pay: $76,577.30 - $92,222.13 per year
