Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our project management team in coordinating construction and millwork projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of construction processes, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing documentation and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Managers in the coordination of construction and millwork projects.
• Prepare and track submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Help develop and maintain project timelines, schedules, and budgets.
• Review and interpret architectural and shop drawings.
• Conduct and participate in conference calls and meetings, take accurate notes, and distribute meeting minutes.
• Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain organized logs, meeting records, and project documentation.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress and quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of experience in construction or millwork project coordination preferred.
• Strong understanding of project management fundamentals (submittals, RFIs, schedules).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and millwork drawings.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including clear meeting documentation.
• Ability to lead and document conference meetings professionally.
• Highly organized, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Proficient with Google Workspace and project management tools (Airtable, Procore, or similar).
• Fluent in both English and Spanish – bilingual communication is essential for coordination with field and shop teams.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Work hours begin at 7:00 AM.
• Must provide professional references.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,823.04 - $72,044.95 per year
