Essential Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot immediate/daily problems and complete corrective actions on all production and wastewater system equipment.
- Plan, perform, and record data for all requested maintenance, and mechanical/electrical repair work via the Maintenance Repair Work order system for all production and wastewater system equipment.
- Perform all preventative maintenance and cleaning procedures as documented.
- Participate in training programs in troubleshooting and performing repair work to advance skills. Participate in manufacturing process improvement initiatives, establish standard operating procedures, and assist and advise Production, Engineering, and other business functions as required.
Required Skills
- Mechanical aptitude, general knowledge of industrial equipment, and ability to identify basic equipment failures.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
- Demonstration of precision maintenance practices to include understanding of instrumentation, electrical troubleshooting, variable speed drives, control systems, programmable logic controllers, PCs and precision repairs.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of related experience in industrial/mechanical/electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment operating under a certified quality management system (i.e. ISO 9001).
- Electrical experience with PLC's (Allen Bradley), AC/DC motors, controls, VFD drives, circuit boards, and 480V-208V three phase experience preferred.
- Previous experience working in an environment with safety training requirements.
- Must pass Respirator Fit Test.
- COVID-19 vaccination required.
