Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to facilitate seamless project workflows
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to track progress and milestones
• Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure clarity and compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards
• Oversee construction site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and quality standards are met
• Manage procurement processes including construction estimating, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, or similar tools for documentation, reporting, and communication
• Monitor project costs through accurate cost estimation and tracking using HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, resolve issues promptly, and maintain project schedules
• Facilitate effective project coordination by managing timelines, resources, and personnel efficiently
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations while maintaining a focus on sustainable practices

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of heavy civil or commercial projects
• Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is essential
• Hands-on experience with construction estimating tools like HeavyBid or similar is highly desirable
• Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract management
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards
• Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation and communication purposes
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Experience with civil design software such as Civil 3D is a plus
• Effective communicator capable of leading teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
