Entry Level Content Marketing Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level content marketing manager job?
Build a portfolio before you apply. Entry level hiring managers want to see writing samples, social media campaigns, email sequences, or blog posts you have produced, even from class projects or volunteer work. Tailor your resume to each job description, mirror the language used in the posting, and highlight any internship or freelance experience that shows you can plan and execute content independently.
Which companies hire entry level content marketing managers?
Companies hiring entry level content marketing managers right now include Rippling, GGP, and SRP, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring covers startups looking for a first marketing hire, mid-size brands building out content teams, and larger organizations that run structured new grad programs.
Are there remote entry level content marketing manager jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and location. About 33% of entry level content marketing manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so a meaningful share of roles do not require daily commuting. Fully remote postings tend to favor candidates who can demonstrate self-direction, so a clean portfolio and clear writing samples help make that case.
Are these new grad content marketing manager jobs?
Yes. These listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior content marketing manager roles. A new grad friendly posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships toward that requirement, and accepts a strong portfolio in place of full-time history. Look for language like "recent graduates encouraged to apply" or "entry level considered" to confirm fit before applying.
Which industries hire the most entry level content marketing managers?
Entry Level content marketing manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Manufacturing, and Construction & Real Estate, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Those sectors invest heavily in digital content to reach customers and build brand awareness, which creates steady demand for junior contributors who can write, manage a content calendar, and support broader marketing campaigns.
