Entry Level Content Producer Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level content producer job?
Build a portfolio before you apply, even if the work is self-initiated, from class projects, or from a brief internship. Entry level employers hiring content producers care most about writing samples, short-form video edits, or social content that shows you understand an audience. Tailor each application to the platform or channel the employer actually uses, and highlight any hands-on production experience, however limited.
Which companies hire entry level content producers?
Companies hiring entry level content producers right now include Nexstar Media Group, Rippling, and TikTok, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, you'll find openings across a mix of media companies, marketing agencies, consumer brands, and tech platforms that maintain active content teams and regularly bring on junior talent.
Are there remote entry level content producer jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid options exist at this level, though competition for them tends to be higher than for on-site roles. About 29% of entry level content producer openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates willing to work on-site will generally find a broader field of available positions to apply to.
Are these new grad content producer jobs?
Yes, many of the openings listed here are new grad roles, including positions labeled junior content producer or recent graduate welcome. A new grad-friendly posting typically asks for zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or class projects as qualifying work, or calls out a portfolio in place of a professional resume. Look for those signals in the job description.
Which industries hire the most entry level content producers?
Entry Level content producer roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Education, and Media & Entertainment, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they maintain large content operations, publish frequently across multiple channels, and need junior producers who can support established teams without requiring years of specialized experience.
