This position supports members of the Client Service team in building and maintaining client relationships. Responsibilities include assisting with data and product support, helping onboard and training customers to ensure understanding of purchased solutions, and developing knowledge of the Company's products and services. This role provides hands-on experience working with clients and exposure to high-value accounts while building a foundation in account management and client services.

Responsibilities:

Support the Client Services team with day-to-day account activities and client communications

Assist in preparing client presentations, reports, and meeting materials

Help maintain and update account documentation, trackers, and CRM records

Conduct basic research on clients, industries, and competitors

Coordinate internal tasks and follow-ups to ensure timely delivery of account needs

Monitor account performance metrics and flag trends or issues to the team

Participate in client meetings, taking notes and capturing action items
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations) as needed

Provide general administrative and project support to the client services team

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or in progress)

6 to 12 months prior work experience is preferred

Basic understanding of customer service or account management principles

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Comfortable working with data, reports, and basic analytics

Ability to work independently in a dynamic, team-oriented environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and other account management software

A strong desire to learn and contribute where needed

Does an Account Associate role qualify for CPT authorization?
It qualifies if the position directly relates to your degree program and your school approves it as an integral part of your curriculum. Account Associate roles in business, marketing, or communications programs typically meet this standard because the work involves client management, sales operations, and data analysis covered in those fields. Your DSO makes the final determination.
Can I do full-time CPT as an Account Associate without losing OPT eligibility?
Full-time CPT, defined as 20 or more hours per week, used for 12 months or more eliminates your OPT eligibility entirely. If you plan to use OPT after graduation, limit your CPT to part-time work or keep full-time CPT under 12 cumulative months. Confirm your running total with your DSO before accepting a full-time offer.
What documents does the employer need to hire me on CPT?
The employer needs your updated I-20 showing CPT authorization for their specific company, your start date, and your work hours. Some employers also request your F-1 visa stamp and I-94 record for onboarding. CPT doesn't require any USCIS filing from the employer, which makes the process faster than H-1B visa sponsorship.
