- Interacting and communicating effectively with site contractors, other technicians, and project managers

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What We're Looking For:
- Actively pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or related degree
- Interest in building forensics, mechanical systems, and structures
- Position requires carrying 40 – 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height
- Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - mileage will be reimbursed

Does a Sales Consultant role qualify for CPT authorization?
Yes, if the role integrates directly with your program of study. Your DSO makes the final determination based on how your specific job duties map to your enrolled curriculum, so bring the offer letter and a course-by-course justification to that meeting.
Can I work full-time as a Sales Consultant on CPT?
Full-time CPT, defined as 20 or more hours per week, is permitted but carries a significant consequence: 12 months of full-time CPT use eliminates your OPT eligibility entirely. Part-time CPT, under 20 hours per week, does not affect OPT. Many F-1 students in Sales Consultant roles choose part-time CPT during the academic term and shift to full-time only during summer or between semesters when they have remaining OPT to protect.
How do I explain CPT to a Sales Consultant employer who hasn't heard of it?
