CPT Lead Designer Jobs

INTRODUCTION

Reporting to the Director, Sales, Marketing & Retail, the Marketing Lead, Sales & Marketing Services (ML-SMS), will work closely with the Manager, Sales & Marketing Services and be responsible for graphic design development, shooting still photography and short form videos, creating camera ready print and digital files, and deploying advertisements and promotional materials for all of Old Salem Museums & Gardens consumer-facing initiatives. In this fast paced, highly creative position, you will work in assigned areas of engagement (AOE’s) to develop content and ensure consistent brand standards for OSMG websites, social platforms, eMarketing, SMS, print & direct mail and interior and exterior brand signage.

The position will work directly as needed with internal departments to assess requested marketing projects, identify deliverables and confirm in-field deadlines. The Marketing Lead will manage this process by using the Marketing Services Request (MSR) form to update weekly the Creative Development Track Document, sharing status updates on all in-process marketing projects. They will be responsible for maintaining an annual Content Drive Calendar for all social-sets scheduled to be posted on social channels in which OSMG is active.

EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

• Create high-quality multimedia content for marketing, education, and internal communications.
• Operate and maintain professional-grade cameras, lighting, and audio equipment overseeing general maintenance and care of all OSMG marketing equipment.
• Manage OSMG’s master photography and media library.
• Collaborate with the IT department to complete website development and performance upgrades which impact creative look, feel and customer experience.
• Serve as the organization’s in-house graphic designer for interior/exterior printed and dimensional signage, digital web design and social media content.
• Manage audience engagement on OSMG’s digital channels, responding to inquiries, and monitoring consumer reviews and feedback. Serve as the trusted eyes, ears and voice of OSMG’s online brand image.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training as appropriate.
• Position requires full-time weekly presence at Old Salem Museums & Gardens corporate offices.
• Job will periodically require evening, weekend and holiday work.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• High level of proficiency operating still and video film equipment and managing post-production color correction and composition with popular 3rd party software applications.
• Demonstrated ability to engage audiences across digital and social media platforms.
• Proven experience designing immersive, experiential visual content.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated proficiency in collaborating effectively with diverse internal and external OSMG stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress, Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Blackbaud/Altru CRM cloud application preferred.
• Experience in graphic design and data analytics required.
• A digital portfolio of relevant marketing, communications and creative development projects is requested.
• Valid driver’s license required.
