Over the past three years, our program has welcomed students from 70+ high school and collegiate institutions.
With over 200 students for our summer program, students are placed across the county at national Gaylor Electric locations and job sites. Sprinkled throughout the summer, students have access to resume development, interview prep, business best practices discussions, and professional headshots. This experience culminates with an academic capstone presentation or craft skills assessment.

Students will not only develop skills in positions related to their academic field of study, but will do intense curation of their professional resumes, interview habits, networking skills, and professionalism approaches. Project Engineer positions in engineering, construction, or technical program management typically satisfy this when your coursework includes project lifecycle, systems design, or engineering fundamentals. Your DSO makes the final determination based on your specific program requirements.
Can I do CPT at a construction site or a non-office location?
Yes. CPT authorization follows the job, not the physical location. If the Project Engineer role places you on a job site, in a manufacturing facility, or across multiple locations, your I-20 CPT authorization still covers it. Confirm the primary worksite address with your employer before your DSO finalizes the authorization, since the I-20 typically lists a specific employer name and location.
