CPT Senior Motion Designer Jobs
Senior Motion Designer roles qualify for CPT when the work directly integrates with your design, animation, or media production curriculum. Your DSO must authorize CPT before your start date, and the position must appear as curricular training in your academic plan. Part-time CPT (under 20 hours per week) preserves your full 12-month OPT eligibility.

Get Access To All JobsSenior Motion Designer CPT: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Senior Motion Designer role qualify for CPT?
Yes, if the position is directly tied to your degree program and your school authorizes it. Senior Motion Designer roles typically qualify when the employer's work involves animation, visual storytelling, or media production that maps to coursework in your design or media curriculum. Your DSO reviews the job description and confirms the academic connection before issuing CPT authorization on your I-20.
Can I do CPT at a remote-first studio or agency?
CPT has no physical location requirement from USCIS, so remote work is permissible as long as your school allows it and your DSO documents the arrangement. Some schools require the employer to be located in the U.S. regardless of where you work day-to-day. Confirm your school's policy before accepting a remote offer, since the authorization is issued at the school level, not by USCIS.
How do I find Senior Motion Designer roles open to CPT students?
Migrate Mate surfaces CPT-eligible Senior Motion Designer positions from employers with F-1 hiring history, so you're not wasting applications on roles where work authorization is a dealbreaker. Filter by role and authorization type to focus your search on teams already prepared to work through the CPT process with you and your DSO.
What happens to my OPT if I do full-time CPT as a Senior Motion Designer?
Full-time CPT lasting 12 months or more eliminates your post-graduation OPT eligibility entirely. If you're considering a full-time Senior Motion Designer CPT role, calculate your cumulative full-time CPT across all prior authorizations first. Part-time CPT, defined as fewer than 20 hours per week, doesn't count toward the 12-month threshold and leaves your OPT intact.
What documents does a Senior Motion Designer employer need for CPT?
Your employer doesn't file anything with USCIS for CPT. The process is handled entirely between you and your school. You provide your employer with your updated I-20 showing CPT authorization and the authorized employer name. The employer verifies your work authorization through Form I-9. Some employers also request a copy of your enrollment verification, but no government filing is required on their side.
