CRM Administrator Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a crm administrator in Texas?
Most crm administrator roles in Texas require a bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field, though employers increasingly consider candidates with relevant certifications in place of a four-year degree. The most recognized credential is the Salesforce Certified Administrator designation, which Texas employers across technology, healthcare, and financial services treat as a near-standard requirement. There is no state-issued license specific to crm administration in Texas, so platform certifications and demonstrated hands-on experience carry the most weight.
How much do CRM administrators make in Texas?
CRM administrators in Texas earn a median of about $114,400 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $59,950 for the lowest 10% to over $161,590 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire crm administrators in Texas?
Employers hiring crm administrators in Texas right now include Abbott, Champion Home Builders, and ASC Engineered Solutions, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's concentration of large corporate headquarters, particularly in the Dallas-Fort Worth corridor, means demand comes from industries as varied as energy, insurance, logistics, and healthcare systems.
Which Texas cities have the most crm administrator jobs?
San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston account for the largest share of crm administrator openings in Texas. Dallas-Fort Worth leads due to its dense concentration of corporate headquarters in financial services, technology, and telecom, while Houston's energy and healthcare sectors drive steady demand, and Austin's fast-growing tech industry has made it an increasingly active market for platform-focused roles.
Are there remote crm administrator jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. CRM administration is largely desk-based work centered on configuring software, managing data, and supporting users through digital channels, making it well-suited to remote arrangements. About 33% of crm administrator openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how broadly employers have accepted flexible work for this role. Fully remote positions are most common for Salesforce administration and reporting-focused roles.
How can I get hired as a crm administrator in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is earning a Salesforce Certified Administrator credential and building hands-on experience through Salesforce's free Trailhead learning platform before applying to junior administrator or CRM support analyst roles. Large Texas employers in healthcare, such as Texas Health Resources, and technology companies based in Austin and the Dallas-Fort Worth area regularly hire associates into CRM support roles that transition into full administration. Moving laterally from a sales operations coordinator, marketing coordinator, or helpdesk analyst position is another common route, since those roles overlap directly with day-to-day CRM work.
Where can I find and apply to crm administrator jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to crm administrator jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings updated regularly. Search the listings for roles that match your experience level and preferred location, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
