American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 3+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) and BLS certification for a weekend-focused acute care assignment.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within the Diagnostic Radiology department
- 75-bed facility treating patients from infant through geriatric, including bariatric cases
- Performs both X-ray and CT procedures
- Uses GE Lightspeed 16 and 64 slice CT and GE XR equipment
- MedHost EHR system
- Weekend shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Call required every 8th weekend and 1 holiday, with availability to report within 30 minutes of notification
- Floats as needed
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) and BLS certification required
- 3+ years of experience required
- Certification/licensure required to work as a CT Tech in KY
- Must have skills in both X-ray and CT
- Strong critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
- License required if applicable

- Works under the direction of the Director of Radiology and Radiology Manager
- Must be a team player with dedication and a strong work ethic
- Black scrubs only, following facility dress code policy
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
- Weekly orientation held on Mondays
