<p>The Engagement Manager serves as the primary bridge between MaintainX’s sales and delivery teams, ensuring that enterprise clients fully understand what to expect from our implementation and onboarding process. This role is critical in setting the foundation for a successful partnership by clearly communicating MaintainX’s approach, methodologies, and timelines while instilling confidence in the quality and reliability of our services.</p>
<p>From the first client interaction through project completion, the Engagement Manager ensures that expectations are aligned, risks are mitigated early, and customers experience a smooth, transparent journey from contract to go-live.</p>
<p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p>
<p>The Engagement Manager partners with the sales team during the presales process to represent MaintainX’s professional services organization and explain our client onboarding methodology. They participate in customer discovery sessions to understand business needs and use that knowledge to propose clear, achievable implementation plans that demonstrate MaintainX’s structured approach to success.</p>
<p>Once a customer commits to moving forward, the Engagement Manager leads the transition from sales to implementation — ensuring that all stakeholders understand project scope, timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables. They serve as a trusted advisor and single point of accountability during this critical period, helping clients navigate each step of onboarding with confidence and clarity.</p>
<p>Throughout the engagement, the Engagement Manager monitors delivery progress, facilitates communication between MaintainX teams and the customer, and proactively manages any changes or challenges that may arise. Their focus is on creating a positive, predictable experience that builds trust and positions MaintainX as a long-term strategic partner.</p>
<p>Ultimately, the Engagement Manager’s success is measured by how well clients understand and embrace the onboarding process, how accurately expectations are managed, and how confidently customers move through implementation toward successful adoption.</p>
<p><strong>About you:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, or client-facing implementation roles within SaaS or technology industries.</li>
<li>Proven ability to communicate complex technical or process concepts clearly and effectively to executive and operational audiences.</li>
<li>Strong presentation, facilitation, and relationship-management skills.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience managing client expectations and aligning multiple stakeholders.</li>
<li>Familiarity with project management methodologies and delivery frameworks.</li>
<li>Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or industrial technology environments preferred.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Industry 4.0 principles and their application in maintenance engineering, smart manufacturing, or digital transformation initiatives.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or PMP certification a plus).</li>
