OUR APPROACH TO FLEXIBLE WORK
With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.
At Workday, we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive hiring experience where all candidates can fully demonstrate their skills. If you require assistance or an accommodation at any point, please email accommodations@workday.com.

Customer Engagement Manager Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a customer engagement manager in New York?
Most customer engagement managers in New York enter the field with a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications, followed by experience in customer success, CRM coordination, or account management roles. New York does not require a state-issued license for this position. Employers in the city's large financial and media sectors often prefer candidates who can demonstrate measurable retention outcomes, and a portfolio of campaign or lifecycle results carries significant weight in the hiring process.
Which companies hire customer engagement managers in New York?
Employers hiring customer engagement managers in New York right now include Workday, BlackLine, and Courier Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. New York's dense concentration of financial institutions, global media companies, and enterprise technology firms means demand is broad and consistent throughout the year.
Which New York cities have the most customer engagement manager jobs?
New York, New York City, and Buffalo have the most customer engagement manager openings in New York. New York City dominates because it houses the headquarters or major regional offices of the financial services, retail, and media companies that rely most heavily on structured customer engagement functions, while demand in smaller metros like Buffalo and Albany is driven by healthcare systems, utilities, and state government contractors that maintain dedicated customer experience teams.
Are there remote customer engagement manager jobs in New York?
Yes, and more than most fields, because the core work of customer lifecycle strategy, CRM management, and digital outreach translates well to remote environments. About 44% of customer engagement manager openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how broadly companies have accepted distributed work for this role. Functions focused on digital channels and data analysis tend to offer the most remote flexibility, while roles requiring in-person client relationships lean hybrid.
How can I get hired as a customer engagement manager in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a customer success coordinator or CRM associate role, which large New York employers in financial services and retail regularly post as new-grad-friendly positions. Companies like Verizon and major New York-based banks run rotational or associate programs that place early-career professionals into customer experience functions. Building familiarity with Salesforce and earning a Salesforce Administrator or HubSpot Marketing certification gives candidates a concrete edge, and lateral moves from inside sales, client support, or marketing operations are common stepping stones.
Where can I find and apply to customer engagement manager jobs in New York?
You can find and apply to customer engagement manager jobs in New York on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across New York City, Buffalo, Albany, and the broader state. Find roles that fit your experience and apply directly without creating an account or signing up.
