Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Conduct initial patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (medical imaging) while adhering to proper aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, dietary considerations, and preventive care strategies.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration to support overall patient health assessments.
- Ensure all clinical areas are sanitized according to infection control standards and maintain a sterile environment.
