To support our growing footprint—including our new retail storefront location in Houston's historic Third Ward—we are seeking an established, growth-minded Broker Associate & Director of Agent Practice Development. Reporting directly to the Owner, this licensed Broker will oversee a dedicated pod of up to 5 professional agents, driving team performance and guiding agent development within a high-integrity, supportive culture.
Role Overview & Leadership Scope
As Director of Agent Practice Development, you will leverage your broker credentials, the reputation of the firm, our specialized urban planning model, and robust administrative support to oversee your pod without having to manage every aspect in isolation.
Key leadership responsibilities include:
- Transaction Review & Approval: Review and approve real estate transaction documents for your pod, supported by virtual back-office infrastructure for administrative processing.
- Collaborative Coaching & Development: Mentor up to 5 licensed agents to help them execute their niche business plans, backed by direct executive leadership support for coaching and professional growth.
- Supported Talent Acquisition & Outreach: Identify and welcome new talent to your pod with dedicated marketing support for recruitment outreach—you won't have to recruit on your own.
- Co-Advisory & Storefront Engagement: Serve as a senior co-advisor on complex urban planning and infill projects while utilizing our Third Ward retail location for investor roundtables and client events.
- Pipeline Oversight: Monitor team production metrics, sales pipelines, and key performance indicators, providing regular updates to the Principal Broker.
Compensation & Financial Incentives
This role combines direct production advantages with structured leadership overlays and long-term equity pathways:
- Competitive Split & Tiered Revenue Share: Favorable commission splits on personal production plus tiered revenue share on your pod's volume ($30k–$100k+ potential in passive/overlay income).
- Diversified Advisory Income: Access to urban planning and infill development advisory fee models beyond standard sales splits.
- Performance & Onboarding Bonuses: Incentive structures tied to pod production benchmarks and successful agent onboarding.
- Monthly Budget & Expense Support: Dedicated monthly stipend for team meetings, marketing, client entertainment, and business development reimbursements.
- Pathways to Branch Ownership: Clear long-term opportunities for leadership expansion, including potential co-founding or ownership in self-named branch offices.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Licensing: Active Texas Real Estate Broker's License in good standing.
- Experience: 4+ years of active real estate experience, 2+ years of sales leadership experience, and a proven production history (minimum 8 closed transactions in the past 12 months).
- Communication & Authority: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate Realinc's unique market value proposition.
- Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or Urban Planning preferred.
- Mindset: Highly organized, composed, strategic, and passionate about guiding agents to become respected community practitioners.
