ABOUT SALESFORCE
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all. Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Partner Security, Governance, and Guardrails Platform is a new and critical frontier at Salesforce — ensuring that partner-deployed technology, especially AI agents, operates securely, predictably, and responsibly across every enterprise environment. As the Director of Product Management for this domain, you will define the zero-to-one strategy for a platform that gives Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) the tools they need to enforce trust, maintain operational control, and govern AI at scale. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise security, agentic AI, and partner ecosystems — and the work you do here will shape how Salesforce's broader partner community safely innovates with AI.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Own the platform vision and roadmap across strategic pillars including Permission Enforcement, Agent Learning & Data Governance, Cross-Org Policy Enforcement, and Cost Control & Resource Governance
- Pioneer dynamic permission models that transition AI agents from static, user-inherited permissions to task-driven access envelopes, giving agents secure and distinct identities at runtime
- Build data governance controls that precisely define what partner-deployed agents can ingest, retain, or learn from customer data — including strict egress policies for external AI endpoints
- Design cross-org policy architecture that enables ISVs to declare baseline security policies that automatically propagate across all subscriber organizations where their packages are installed
- Deliver cost and resource governance tooling including a two-tier governance mesh that lets ISVs configure default caps and throttling rules for flex credit consumption, preventing runaway agent costs and unexpected customer bill-shock
- Manage end-to-end service lifecycle for key platform services including the Partner Guardrail Service, Partner Security Assistant, Permission Enforcer, Cost Control Framework, Partner Agent Learning Governance Service, and Action Constraint Policy Engine
- Collaborate across functions — Engineering, Security, Legal, Go-To-Market, and external ISV partners — to deliver mission-critical trust infrastructure that scales across the Salesforce ecosystem
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 10+ years of progressive product management experience, with a proven track record in Director-level or equivalent leadership roles
- Deep domain expertise in enterprise security, trust, identity, data governance, and platform product management
- Demonstrated experience working with ISVs, partner ecosystems, or B2B developer platforms
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and agentic architectures — including LLMs and generative AI — and the unique security and compliance challenges they introduce
- Proven success securing resources and launching greenfield enterprise or platform products from zero to one
- Ability to engage deeply in complex architectural discussions with engineering counterparts and translate them into clear, customer-centric product requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience aligning diverse cross-functional teams around shared outcomes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Practitioner experience with analytics tools such as Snowflake
- Familiarity with ISV app distribution models, AppExchange, or Salesforce platform packaging
- Experience building compliance, policy enforcement, or runtime governance products
- Background in developer platform or infrastructure product management
- A related technical degree
WHY JOIN?
This is a rare opportunity to build something entirely new — a platform that will become foundational to how Salesforce's partner ecosystem deploys AI responsibly. You'll work with some of the most forward-thinking engineers and partners in the industry, defining the standards for agentic AI governance before those standards are written. If you're energized by solving hard, ambiguous problems at the frontier of AI safety and enterprise trust, this role was designed for you.
Unleash Your Potential
When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best. Together, we’ll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love.
