Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue
Meet or exceed budgeted booking goals and revenue targets across all special event areas
Drive sales across corporate, social, nonprofit, and wedding market segments
Apply advanced closing, negotiation, and presentation techniques to maximize revenue
Client Experience & Relationships
Build and maintain long-term client relationships that generate repeat business
Conduct engaging site tours and tailored client presentations showcasing venue capabilities
Represent Whiskey Reds through industry associations, networking groups, and community involvement
Execution & Collaboration
Partner closely with culinary and banquet teams to ensure seamless event execution
Create clear, accurate, and detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
Monitor events in real time, address challenges quickly, and implement effective solutions
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics
Education & Experience
2+ years of catering or event sales experience required
Experience with a comparable venue size and sales volume strongly preferred
Proven ability to prioritize, plan, and manage multiple events simultaneously
Strong written communication skills-clear, concise, and detail-oriented
Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
