About the Role:
SuccessfulMatch.com, Inc. operates premium dating platforms connecting people who are looking for meaningful relationships. EliteSingles, one of our platforms, focuses on educated, successful, and relationship-minded singles.
We are looking for a Local Events & Partnerships Coordinator based in the Greater Los Angeles Area to help grow EliteSingles’ local presence through community engagement, offline activities, and strategic partnerships.
This is a freelance consulting opportunity for someone who understands the LA market, enjoys building relationships, and has hands-on experience with events, local marketing, community initiatives, or partnership development.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable identifying local opportunities, connecting with relevant partners, and supporting events and marketing activities from planning through execution.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop relationships with local venues, restaurants, businesses, communities, and event organizers in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
- Support the planning, promotion, and execution of local events, meetups, and community activities.
- Explore opportunities to increase brand awareness through offline marketing channels and local partnerships.
- Provide insights and recommendations on LA neighborhoods, audiences, venues, and potential partnership opportunities.
- Coordinate with the remote marketing team to share local market feedback and support marketing initiatives.
- Help create engaging experiences for EliteSingles’ target audience through local activities and partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Must be based in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
- Previous experience in event marketing, local marketing, community marketing, experiential marketing, event promotion, or partnership development.
- Hands-on experience organizing, promoting, or executing events and local initiatives.
- Experience taking ownership of projects rather than only providing administrative or support assistance.
- Familiarity with Los Angeles venues, communities, local businesses, and offline marketing channels.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with different partners.
- Comfortable working independently in a freelance consulting environment.
- Experience with small to medium-sized events or meetups is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing events or marketing projects from planning through execution.
- Experience with both event promotion and event organization.
- Experience with singles events, dating communities, lifestyle events, VIP experiences, or premium customer groups.
- Existing relationships with local venues, influencers, creators, community groups, or event organizers.
- Experience with partnership campaigns, referral programs, or community-driven user acquisition.
