Entry Level Division Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level division manager job?
Employers hiring entry level division managers typically look for candidates who have led teams in internships, student organizations, or part-time supervisory roles, even informally. Highlighting measurable results, such as a project completed on time or a process you improved, gives you an edge. Tailoring your resume to show coordination, communication, and organizational skills matters more than years on the job at this stage.
Which companies hire entry level division managers?
Companies hiring entry level division managers right now include Cooper Tacia General Contracting Company, Lennar, and Spectrum Brands, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. A mix of large corporations, regional businesses, and growing mid-size organizations tends to post at this level, often looking to develop early-career talent into longer-term management roles.
Are there remote entry level division manager jobs?
Yes, though on-site roles still dominate at this level given the hands-on nature of division oversight. About 20% of entry level division manager openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, concentrated mainly in industries where team coordination can happen digitally. Filtering by work setting on Migrate Mate helps you find those openings quickly.
Are these new grad division manager jobs?
Yes, many of the listings here are new grad and junior roles that welcome recent graduates with little or no professional management experience. A new-grad-friendly posting typically notes that it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internship or campus leadership in place of full-time history, or explicitly invites candidates who can demonstrate potential through a portfolio or project examples.
Which industries hire the most entry level division managers?
Entry Level division manager roles concentrate in Construction & Real Estate, Food & Beverage, and Hospitality & Tourism, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors tend to have high operational volume and structured training programs that make them well suited to building junior managers from the ground up.
