Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Land Acquisition Manager
Verify your degree meets specialty occupation
Your Australian bachelor's degree needs to align directly with land acquisition work. A three-year degree in property, planning, or civil engineering is generally accepted as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree, but get a credential evaluation from a USCIS-recognized service before your search.
Target developers with dedicated HR infrastructure
Large residential and commercial developers, REITs, and utility companies file LCAs regularly and have in-house HR teams familiar with E-3 sponsorship. Smaller private landowners or boutique brokerage firms rarely have the compliance capacity to sponsor a visa.
Search for roles using Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to find Land Acquisition Manager positions where employers have active E-3 sponsorship history. Filtering by visa type saves you from applying to roles where sponsorship isn't on the table, which is common in this sector.
Frame your Australian market knowledge as transferable
Employers assess whether your property due diligence, rezoning, and negotiation experience translates to U.S. markets. Explicitly connect your work with state planning authorities or title searches to equivalent U.S. processes in your resume and cover letter.
Get the LCA certified before your consulate appointment
Your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with the DOL before you can schedule your visa interview. DOL targets seven business days for LCA certification, but confirm the timeline with your employer early so it doesn't delay your start date.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for end-to-end support
Once you have an offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA submission, DS-160, and consulate preparation. Land acquisition roles often involve complex job description drafting to satisfy specialty occupation requirements, and expert support reduces the risk of a request for evidence.

Find Land Acquisition Manager JobsLand Acquisition Manager E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Land Acquisition Manager jobs with E-3 sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to search Land Acquisition Manager roles filtered by E-3 visa sponsorship. Many land acquisition postings don't advertise sponsorship upfront, so searching a platform that surfaces employer sponsorship history saves significant time. Focus on large developers, infrastructure companies, and utilities, which have the compliance resources to support the process.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Land Acquisition Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, if the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field such as real estate, urban planning, civil engineering, or business. The key is that the degree must be a normal requirement for entry into the role, not just preferred. A generic managerial title without a defined degree requirement can complicate the LCA filing.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Land Acquisition Manager roles?
The E-3 is significantly more accessible for Australians. There's no annual lottery, so you can apply any time of year with a job offer in hand. The H-1B has an 85,000-slot annual cap and a randomised selection process that most applicants don't pass. For land acquisition roles, the E-3's open calendar and two-year renewable status make it the practical choice.
Can I change employers while on an E-3 in a land acquisition role?
Yes, but the process restarts entirely with the new employer. They must file a new LCA with the DOL and you'll need a new E-3 visa stamp if you travel internationally. You can start working for the new employer once their LCA is certified and you have valid status, but coordinating timing carefully avoids gaps in authorisation.
