Salesforce is an equal opportunity employer and maintains a policy of non-discrimination with all employees and applicants for employment. What does that mean exactly? It means that at Salesforce, we believe in equality for all. And we believe we can lead the path to equality in part by creating a workplace that’s inclusive, and free from discrimination. Know your rights: workplace discrimination is illegal. Any employee or potential employee will be assessed on the basis of merit, competence and qualifications – without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, transgender status, age, disability, veteran or marital status, political viewpoint, or other classifications protected by law. This policy applies to current and prospective employees, no matter where they are in their Salesforce employment journey. It also applies to recruiting, hiring, job assignment, compensation, promotion, benefits, training, assessment of job performance, discipline, termination, and everything in between. Recruiting, hiring, and promotion decisions at Salesforce are fair and based on merit. The same goes for compensation, benefits, promotions, transfers, reduction in workforce, recall, training, and education.
In the United States, compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, job level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. Salesforce offers a variety of benefits to help you live well including: time off programs, medical, dental, vision, mental health support, paid parental leave, life and disability insurance, 401(k), and an employee stock purchasing program. More details about company benefits can be found at the following link: https://www.salesforcebenefits.com. Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Production Manager
Align your degree to the role
U.S. consular officers assess whether your qualification directly supports production management. A degree in industrial engineering, operations management, or supply chain strengthens your case more than a general business degree paired with experience alone.
Target employers with active LCA history
Companies that have previously filed Labor Condition Applications for production or operations roles already understand the E-3 process. DOL's OFLC disclosure data lets you verify which employers have sponsored similar titles before approaching them.
Request a specialty occupation job description
Ask your prospective employer to draft a job description that specifies a bachelor's degree in a relevant field as a formal requirement, not a preference. 'Preferred' language can create problems at the consulate and undermine your specialty occupation classification.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for LCA and paperwork
The LCA must be certified by DOL before you can attend your consulate appointment. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork so nothing stalls your start date while your employer focuses on onboarding.
Confirm your employer's E-Verify enrollment before the offer
E-Verify enrollment is not required for standard E-3 sponsorship, but some large employers mandate it internally. Knowing your employer's status early prevents last-minute compliance surprises that can delay your I-9 and first day.
Prepare for consulate questions about your management scope
Officers at Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth frequently ask production managers to describe team size, budget authority, and operational oversight. Bring documentation that shows your direct reports, P&L responsibility, or project scale to substantiate your title.
E-3 Visa Production Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Production Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for U.S. roles with E-3 sponsorship. You can filter by job title and see employers who have a history of sponsoring Australian workers, so you're not cold-applying to companies unfamiliar with the E-3 process.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Production Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as industrial engineering, operations management, or supply chain management. Roles that accept any degree, or treat a degree as optional, are harder to qualify. The key is that the job description must establish a direct relationship between the degree field and the duties performed.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Production Manager positions?
The E-3 has no lottery and no annual cap, so you can apply as soon as you have a job offer and a certified LCA. H-1B requires entering a randomised lottery in April with no guarantee of selection. For Australian production managers, the E-3 is a direct path rather than a chance-based one, and it renews in two-year increments indefinitely.
Can I change employers or move into a senior role while on an E-3?
Yes, but each new position requires a fresh LCA and a new visa application or change of status. If your role expands significantly, such as moving from Production Manager to Director of Operations, your employer should file a new LCA reflecting the updated title and wage level to keep your status consistent with your actual duties.
