This role will establish structured data, analytics, and governance frameworks to ensure accurate and actionable insights into supplier inventory positions and commitments. The analyst will also support the development of supplier and sub-tier mapping capabilities to enhance supply chain transparency and compliance. Essential Job Duties
- Develop and maintain a centralized dataset capturing supplier-held inventory (finished goods and raw materials), including contractual requirements and inventory commitments
- Assess and rationalize current supplier inventory data sources (e.g., APIs, iValua feeds, manual reporting), identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for standardization
- Design and implement standardized frameworks and best practices for supplier inventory reporting, visibility, and governance
- Build analytics, dashboards, and reporting to monitor supplier inventory attainment, coverage, and alignment to contractual expectations and planning assumptions
- Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Planning, Sourcing, IT, and Data teams to improve data quality, integration, and governance related to supplier inventory and master data
- Support the development and maintenance of supplier and part-site mapping (Tier-1), including key attributes such as COO, AML, and manufacturing locations
- Support the implementation and scaling of a sub-tier supply chain mapping capability, including evaluation of tools, development of data intake processes, and establishment of governance for ongoing maintenance
- Perform advanced analytics and modeling to support supply chain risk management, inventory strategy, and operational decision-making
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- 4–7+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, analytics, or a related field, with exposure to areas such as inventory management, supplier management, or supply chain risk
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large, complex datasets and translate data into actionable insights
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) to support reporting, modeling, and decision-making
- Familiarity with supply chain systems and data structures (e.g., ERP systems such as SAP, supplier management platforms like iValua, or similar tools)
- Ability to assess data quality, identify gaps, and drive improvements in data governance, standardization, and process design
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Planning, Sourcing, IT, and Finance
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
Required Education and Training
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, Economics, or a related quantitative or technical field
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with supplier network visibility, supply chain mapping, or multi-tier supply chain analysis, including tools or platforms such as Everstream Analytics, Altana, Prewave or similar
- Prior experience working with or integrating supplier data sources (e.g., APIs, EDI, supplier portals) to enable real-time or near real-time visibility
- Background in inventory strategy, planning, or materials management, including concepts such as safety stock, coverage, and lead time variability
- Experience supporting or building data models and governance frameworks for supply chain or master data (e.g., part-site, COO, AML structures)
- Familiarity with supply chain risk management (SCRM) concepts, including supplier risk, disruption monitoring, and scenario analysis
- Experience with advanced analytics or modeling techniques (e.g., Python, R, or statistical modeling) to support decision-making

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Supply Chain
Frame your degree for specialty occupation
U.S. consular officers assess whether your role requires a specific degree, not just any degree. Document how your Australian supply chain or logistics qualification maps directly to the responsibilities in your job offer to avoid an RFE.
Target manufacturers and 3PL operators first
Large manufacturers, third-party logistics providers, and retailers with dedicated procurement teams file LCAs regularly and have HR processes for work visa sponsorship. Mid-size industrial distributors are worth targeting too, as they often sponsor E-3 without the competition of corporate grad programs.
Verify employer LCA readiness before negotiating
Your employer files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before your visa application can proceed. Confirm your offer letter specifies the role title, work location, and a wage meeting DOL prevailing wage standards so the LCA isn't rejected or delayed.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for the LCA and consulate prep
Supply chain roles spanning multiple warehouse sites or frequent travel complicate the LCA. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle LCA filing, visa paperwork, and consulate preparation so location-specific wage requirements don't create delays at interview.
Address Australian credential equivalency proactively
A three-year Australian bachelor's degree in supply chain or logistics is generally accepted as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree, but bring your academic transcripts translated into U.S. credit-hour terms. Consular officers in Sydney and Melbourne are familiar with this equivalency, but documentation removes ambiguity.
Negotiate E-3 renewal into your employment agreement
The E-3 renews in two-year increments with no cap, but your employer must file a new LCA for each renewal. Get written confirmation before you accept the offer that your employer will support renewals and understands their DOL obligations for the duration of your employment.

Find Supply Chain JobsSupply Chain E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Supply Chain jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you search Supply Chain roles filtered specifically for E-3 visa sponsorship, so you're not sifting through listings from employers unfamiliar with the process. Focus on companies with existing LCA filing history in logistics, procurement, or operations, as they understand the DOL requirements and can move quickly once you have an offer.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Do Supply Chain roles qualify as specialty occupations for the E-3 visa?
Yes, provided the role genuinely requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field like supply chain management, industrial engineering, or business logistics. Generic operations coordinator roles where any degree suffices can fail the specialty occupation test. The job description must tie degree-level knowledge to the core duties, not just list it as a preference.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Supply Chain professionals?
The E-3 has a 10,500 annual allocation that has never been fully used, so there's no lottery. H-1B applicants in supply chain compete in a randomized lottery with roughly a 25% selection rate. For Australian professionals, the E-3 is a direct path: your employer files an LCA with the DOL, you attend a consular interview in Australia, and you can start work once the visa is issued.
Can I switch Supply Chain employers on an E-3 visa?
Yes, but your new employer must file a fresh LCA with the DOL and you'll need a new E-3 visa reflecting the new position. The E-3 is tied to a specific employer and role, so you can't transfer it the way a green card holder moves jobs. Time your transition carefully, as you may need to travel to Australia for a new consular interview depending on your timeline.
