Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Warehouse
Frame your degree around supply chain
A warehouse role qualifies for E-3 only if it meets the specialty occupation threshold. Position your bachelor's in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or operations management as directly required for the role, not just preferred.
Target employers with DOL LCA history
Search DOL's Foreign Labor Application Gateway for employers who have filed Labor Condition Applications for warehouse and logistics roles. Employers with prior LCA filings already understand the process and are far less likely to withdraw an offer over sponsorship concerns.
Use Migrate Mate to search E-3 sponsoring employers
Migrate Mate filters warehouse and logistics roles by E-3 sponsorship history, so you can focus on employers who have sponsored Australians before. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork once you have an offer.
Clarify the degree requirement before accepting
Before signing an offer, confirm the job description explicitly states a bachelor's degree in a specific field is required. If it reads 'degree preferred,' ask the employer to revise the language before the LCA is filed, or the consular officer may deny the E-3.
Start the LCA before giving notice in Australia
Your employer files the LCA with DOL before you can apply for your E-3 at a U.S. consulate. DOL certifies most LCAs within seven business days, but build in buffer time so your Australian resignation timeline doesn't outpace your visa timeline.
Check E-Verify enrollment if you need STEM OPT later
If you're transitioning from F-1 status and plan to use STEM OPT before switching to E-3, confirm your warehouse employer is enrolled in E-Verify. STEM OPT employers are required by ICE to participate, and not all distribution centers are enrolled.

Find Warehouse JobsWarehouse E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find warehouse jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. It surfaces warehouse and logistics roles from employers with E-3 sponsorship history, so you're not cold-applying to companies that have never sponsored an Australian before. Standard job boards don't filter by visa type or sponsorship track record, which wastes time at a critical stage of your job search.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Do warehouse jobs qualify as specialty occupations for the E-3?
Not all warehouse roles qualify. The E-3 requires the position to be a specialty occupation, meaning it normally requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field like supply chain management, industrial engineering, or operations management. A general warehouse picker or packer role typically won't qualify, but a warehouse operations manager or logistics analyst role with a degree requirement often will.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Australian warehouse professionals?
The E-3 is significantly more practical for Australians in warehouse and logistics. There's no annual lottery, no cap to exhaust, and the employer can file any time of year. The H-1B has an 85,000-slot annual cap with a randomized selection process, meaning qualified candidates are routinely excluded by chance. For Australians, the E-3 is the direct route.
Can my employer sponsor me for an E-3 if they've never done it before?
Yes. Any U.S. employer can sponsor an E-3 for the first time as long as the role qualifies as a specialty occupation and the employer is willing to file the Labor Condition Application with DOL. The main barrier is employer unfamiliarity with the process, not eligibility. Walking your employer through the LCA filing steps upfront reduces the chance they decline over perceived complexity.
