E-3 Visa Salesforce Consultant Jobs
Salesforce Consultant roles qualify as E-3 specialty occupations because the work requires a bachelor's degree in a directly related field, typically information systems, business, or computer science. Australian citizens can secure E-3 visa sponsorship without entering a lottery, and two-year renewals are indefinite as long as you hold a qualifying offer.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Salesforce Consultant
Verify your degree aligns with the role
Salesforce consulting sits at the intersection of business and technology, so a degree in information systems, computer science, or business administration gives you the clearest specialty occupation case. A marketing degree supporting a technical configuration role will attract more scrutiny from consular officers.
Target employers with active Salesforce practices
Consulting firms, systems integrators, and enterprise software companies regularly hire Salesforce consultants and understand the E-3 visa process. Prioritise employers with dedicated Salesforce partnerships, Platinum or Consulting tiers, as they're accustomed to sponsoring international technical staff and have internal HR processes ready.
Request the LCA before accepting your offer
The Labor Condition Application must be certified by DOL before your consulate appointment, which typically takes seven business days. Confirm your employer understands this step and has a process in place, delays here push back your entire start date.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for your paperwork
Once you have an offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork end-to-end. This is especially useful if your employer's HR team is unfamiliar with E-3 requirements, a dedicated expert manages the process from offer to consulate appointment.
Prepare a specialty occupation evidence pack
Bring your degree certificate, certified transcripts, any Salesforce certifications such as Administrator or Consultant credentials, and a role description letter confirming the position requires a relevant degree. Consular officers may probe whether the role is genuinely specialty occupation rather than general project management.
Clarify remote and multi-state work arrangements early
Salesforce consultants often work across multiple client sites. Each worksite in a different metropolitan statistical area may require a separate LCA posting under DOL rules. Confirm with your employer which locations are covered before your visa is issued to avoid compliance gaps.
E-3 Visa Salesforce Consultant: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Salesforce Consultant jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you search specifically for Salesforce Consultant roles where employers are open to E-3 sponsorship, filtering out positions that require existing work authorisation. Because the E-3 has no lottery and requires only an employer willing to file an LCA, the pool of sponsoring employers is broader than for H-1B visa roles, and Migrate Mate surfaces those opportunities directly.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Salesforce Consultant role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3 visa?
Yes, provided the role genuinely requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as information systems, computer science, or business administration. Roles focused on configuration, solution architecture, or technical implementation are well-supported. Roles framed as general project management or account management, where any bachelor's degree would do, are harder to substantiate as specialty occupation.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Salesforce Consultants?
The E-3 is available only to Australian citizens, but it has significant practical advantages: there is no annual cap, no lottery, and no premium processing gamble required to secure a start date. H-1B petitions for October starts are subject to a randomised selection process, which can leave a confirmed offer in limbo for months. E-3 applicants schedule a consulate appointment and receive a decision at interview.
Can I change Salesforce clients or projects without affecting my E-3 status?
Working across different client projects within the same employer is fine and doesn't require a new visa filing. If you change employers, your new employer must file a fresh LCA before you begin work. Working at a new client site in a different city may also require an amended LCA posting, so flag any significant location changes with your employer's HR or immigration contact.
