Job Details
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Engineering Technician to join our team in the Tech Services industry. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects, collaborate with a team of skilled professionals, and make a significant impact on our company's success. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, conducting tests, and assisting in the design and development of our products and systems. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support to engineers during the design of manufacturing processes for a production facility.
2. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of equipment and systems to meet client and company requirements.
3. Conduct detailed analyses of complex functions and work processes.
4. Develop and implement detailed test procedures, using sophisticated test equipment and analysis tools.
5. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify inefficiencies or problems and propose solutions.
6. Maintain documentation of all processes, tests, and modifications.
7. Ensure all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies and regulations.
8. Provide training and technical guidance to junior staff.
9. Continually update technical knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Engineering Technician or in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in TIA or equivalent technology.
4. Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
6. Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics.
7. Excellent communication and teamworking skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
9. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software (e.g., CAD).
10. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies in complex processes.
