The successful candidate will support the design and construction of new site infrastructure under the supervision of a licensed engineer. This role is ideal for someone who has passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and is committed to pursuing a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Support:
- Assist in the preparation and review of construction documents, including plans, specifications, and estimates.

- Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project goals are met.

Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on design approaches and problem-solving.

- Perform calculations and analyses to support design decisions.

Utilize CAD software and other engineering tools to create and modify design documents.

Field Support:
- Assist in site visits to gather data, monitor construction progress, and ensure compliance with design intent.

Prepare field reports and provide recommendations based on observations.

Professional Development:
- Pursue continuing education and professional development opportunities to advance toward obtaining a PE license.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, or ability to pass within a year.
- Ambition to obtain a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering (internship or co-op experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to civil engineering projects.
