INTRODUCTION
Weston & Sampson is seeking an engineering student for our Summer 2026 Co-Op/Intern program. You will be working within one discipline but will be introduced to a variety of areas: civil, environmental, water, and wastewater. This position will be located in Reading, MA with occasional field work around the state.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Students will be assisting the engineering staff with project related tasks including:
- data calculations
- research analysis
- design of plans and specifications for projects such as stormwater drainage improvements and green infrastructure
- construction services including field work
- Climate Resiliency
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related engineering field
- Students with 2 years of coursework completed are preferred
- Must have strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to effectively organize, manage and coordinate multiple assignments
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Introductory knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, and/or HydroCAD is preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license
COMPENSATION
- Salary Range Per Hour: $22.00 - $26.00 Based on Education
