Entry Level Epic Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level epic analyst job?
Employers hiring at the entry level look for hands-on exposure to Epic software, which you can gain through a healthcare internship, a hospital IT rotation, or a formal Epic training program. Certifications in one or more Epic modules strengthen a new candidate's application considerably. Tailoring your resume to show any clinical workflow knowledge, data entry, or EHR support experience gives you a clear edge over candidates with no healthcare IT background.
Which companies hire entry level epic analysts?
Companies hiring entry level epic analysts right now include Prime Healthcare Services, CoxHealth, and Beebe Healthcare, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Health systems, hospital networks, and healthcare consulting firms account for the largest share of entry level postings, as they actively build out implementation and support teams.
Are there remote entry level epic analyst jobs?
Yes, though on-site roles remain common at this level given the hands-on training involved. About 63% of entry level epic analyst openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, concentrated mainly in support analyst and optimization roles where workflows are already established and new hires can be onboarded remotely.
Are these new grad epic analyst jobs?
Yes, many of the postings here are new grad and junior roles that explicitly welcome recent graduates with zero to two years of experience. A new grad-friendly posting typically accepts an Epic certification, a relevant internship, or a capstone project in place of full-time work history, making these roles accessible to candidates coming directly out of health informatics, nursing, or IT programs.
Which industries hire the most entry level epic analysts?
Entry Level epic analyst roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Technology & Software, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors drive entry level hiring because they are actively expanding or upgrading Epic implementations and need analyst talent at every experience level to support go-lives, training, and ongoing system optimization.
