Job Description Summary:
Epic Analyst - Population Health
Florida residency required.
We are seeking a proactive and collaborative Epic Analyst to join our Digital/Population Health team. In this role, you will support key digital health initiatives that expand access to care, improve patient outcomes, and strengthen the digital front-door experience across our population health ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings strong Epic expertise—preferably in Healthy Planet or Ambulatory—and a passion for using technology to drive meaningful healthcare transformation.
You will deliver high-quality service across operational support, workflow analysis, system testing, upgrades, and optimization efforts. This includes monitoring and resolving service tickets, supporting new system implementations, analyzing workflows, participating in testing, and assisting in training activities. The Epic Analyst also contributes to project work, collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams, and maintains up-to-date knowledge of Epic applications and related processes. Consistent communication, teamwork, and a positive, solutions-focused mindset are essential.
Qualifications include: a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), 3–4+ years working with large hospital systems, and preferred Epic certification/experience in Healthy Planet or Ambulatory.
Position Responsibilities

- Service Management - Actively monitors assigned HEAT tickets, documents activities thoroughly, and resolves issues within the established service levels in a consistent manner.
- Workflow Analysis - Independently performs workflow analysis and design with input and guidance from key operational leadership. Facilitates workflow adoption on new processes.
- Testing - Participates in system testing events by executing scripts. Accurately documents and reports any noted errors or deficiencies. Provides input for testing scripts with workflow updates/system upgrades/implementations.
- Upgrades/Optimizations - Performs system activities related to upgrades and optimization with vendor assistance.
- Projects and New System Implementations - Executes assigned tasks within specified time frame. Able to manage multiple projects while maintaining portfolio of regular support assignments.
- Issue Resolution - Utilizes system knowledge and available resources to address routine issues.
- Leadership - Actively participates in departmental and customer team meetings. Prepares and presents substantial portions of meetings on a regular basis. Acts as a team resource by taking notes or other support activities.
- Knowledge - Achieves and maintains up-to-date application knowledge for assigned applications/process areas. Utilizes appropriate resources to further knowledge to address issues or complete assigned tasks.
- Downtime Processes - Reviews and provides input for development of downtime processes. Actively participates in testing of downtime processes. Activities may include executing test scripts, working with end users or other tasks to support downtime activities.
- Training - Provides input related to the development of training content for users. Assist with formal training classes when necessary in the form of teaching, proctoring, materials preparation or other tasks as necessary.
