Position Summary: Assistant Store Manager has an increasingly high impact on the overall financial results of Curacao. Therefore, Assistant Store Managers are directly accountable for the complete execution of their job description. Assistant Store Managers will achieve their goals and ensure execution of company programs, policies and directives. They will maintain acceptable department presentation standards. Provide world-class customer service. They will be diligent in developing a solid sales force of Retail Team Leaders and Sales Specialists.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensures Corporate Customer Service standards and policies are achieved at all times. This includes but is not limited to: creating a positive environment within the department with sales specialists that are motivated, observant, urgently addressing all substandard customer service actions every day.
- Responsible for the communication, understanding and execution of the highest honest, integrity and ethical practices at all times.
- Responsible for ensuring Sales Specialists achieve their goals. Analyzes reports and checks contracts throughout the day, without exception, to recognize and immediately address performance issues. Coaching throughout the day must take place.
- Instrumental in the training of and ensuring execution of The Art Of The Sale.
- Assistant Sales Managers will assist Sales Specialists as a second voice for closure of transactions as needed.
- Responsible for developing staff in the proper utilization of approved selling techniques and product knowledge. Must ensure every sales specialist meets corporate expectations.
- Set high standards and motivate the team to create The Experience.
- Assist leadership team with planning, implementing, and maintaining the visual merchandising brand standards.
- Will ensure the merchandising presentation within the department meets expectations every day and that the overall appearance of the department is of the highest quality and maintained as directed. All merchandise displays must be well maintained, presentable and in perfect condition.
- Responsible for the prevention of loss or damage of merchandise.
- Responsible for complete and accurate signage standards are met daily according to corporate policies and state regulations.
- Responsible for maintaining high morale at all times.
- Will ensure 100% execution of all programs, directions, expectations and policies.
