Field Manager Jobs in Philadelphia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a field manager job in Philadelphia?
The strongest openings in Philadelphia cluster in construction and infrastructure, utilities, and facilities operations, particularly around Center City development projects, the Navy Yard, and Northeast Philadelphia industrial corridors. Candidates with hands-on crew supervision experience and familiarity with Philadelphia's permitting and inspection processes stand out. Targeting general contractors, property management firms, and regional utilities with active Philadelphia operations gives you the best foothold in this market.
Which companies hire field managers in Philadelphia?
Employers hiring field managers in Philadelphia right now include Eastern, Clearsite Industrial Services, and Comcast, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Philadelphia's mix of large general contractors, healthcare real estate operators, and regional utility providers means openings appear across both commercial and public-sector employers.
Are there remote field manager jobs in Philadelphia?
Yes, though remote availability is limited by nature since most field manager roles require on-site presence to oversee crews, inspect work, and coordinate logistics. About 56% of field manager openings tied to Philadelphia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, skewing toward scheduling, reporting, and project coordination functions rather than direct field supervision.
How can I get a field manager job in Philadelphia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Philadelphia is moving up from a crew lead or field technician role with a regional contractor or facilities management firm. Philadelphia-area employers in property management, construction, and utilities regularly promote internally from skilled trades and coordinator positions. Gaining familiarity with Philadelphia's building inspection process and local subcontractor networks accelerates that progression and makes candidates more competitive for junior field manager titles.
Which industries hire the most field managers in Philadelphia?
The sectors hiring the most field managers in Philadelphia are Insurance, Manufacturing, and Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Philadelphia's ongoing development along the waterfront, continued investment in infrastructure, and its concentration of large healthcare campuses all drive consistent local demand for experienced field oversight.
