Field Marketing Specialist Jobs in Arkansas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a field marketing specialist in Arkansas?
Most field marketing specialist roles in Arkansas require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications, though no state-issued license applies to the role. Employers in Little Rock and the Northwest Arkansas corridor typically look for candidates who have completed internships or brand ambassador programs during college, along with hands-on experience running events or supporting retail accounts. Building a portfolio of local campaign results strengthens any application.
How much do field marketing specialists make in Arkansas?
Field marketing specialists in Arkansas earn a median of about $65,430 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $34,560 for the lowest 10% to over $136,310 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire field marketing specialists in Arkansas?
Employers hiring field marketing specialists in Arkansas right now include Walmart, AdamsBrown, and University of Arkansas, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Northwest Arkansas companies with retail and consumer goods footprints, including suppliers and vendors operating near the Bentonville headquarters cluster, are among the most consistent sources of field marketing openings in the state.
Which Arkansas cities have the most field marketing specialist jobs?
Bentonville, Little Rock, and Rogers lead Arkansas for field marketing specialist openings. Bentonville and the wider Northwest Arkansas region generate significant volume because of the dense concentration of Walmart suppliers and consumer goods brands headquartered or regionally based there, while Little Rock draws demand from healthcare, financial services, and state government contractors that rely on field marketing teams.
Are there remote field marketing specialist jobs in Arkansas?
Yes, but they're rare. Field marketing is inherently on-site work involving in-store visits, local events, and face-to-face account management, so fully remote roles are uncommon. About 38% of field marketing specialist openings tied to Arkansas are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those positions tend to involve campaign planning, reporting, and coordination rather than hands-on field execution.
How can I get hired as a field marketing specialist in Arkansas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a brand ambassador or field representative role with one of the many consumer goods vendors that maintain a presence near Bentonville's retail supplier community. Large Arkansas-based employers like Walmart supplier agencies and regional food and beverage distributors regularly hire entry-level field reps who learn on the job. A marketing degree, a completed internship, or a Google Career Certificate in marketing provides a competitive edge when experience is limited.
Where can I find and apply to field marketing specialist jobs in Arkansas?
You can find and apply to field marketing specialist jobs in Arkansas on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state including positions in Little Rock, Fayetteville, Bentonville, and surrounding areas. Find roles that fit your background and apply directly to each listing.
