Mid Level Financial Services Representative Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level financial services representative job?
Position your existing experience around ownership and outcomes: highlight portfolios you managed independently, clients you retained or grew, and processes you improved. Tailor your resume to show depth in areas like financial planning, compliance, or consultative sales rather than listing tasks. Certifications such as Series 6, Series 7, or CFP credentials signal readiness to hiring managers looking for someone who can contribute immediately without heavy supervision.
Which companies hire mid level financial services representatives?
Companies hiring mid level financial services representatives right now include Amazon, Riveron, and Jobot, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level covers large regional banks, national insurance carriers, credit unions, and independent wealth management firms, all of which typically need experienced representatives who can manage established client relationships with minimal oversight.
Are there remote mid level financial services representative jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and specialization. About 34% of mid level financial services representative openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with phone-based sales, financial planning support, and insurance advisory roles most commonly offered in flexible formats. Client-facing relationship management roles are more likely to require in-person presence at a branch or regional office.
How do I move up to a mid level financial services representative role?
The path from entry level to mid level in financial services is built on demonstrating independent judgment and measurable client impact. Start by deepening your expertise in a specific product area, such as retirement accounts, lending products, or insurance, then volunteer for projects that require you to lead rather than support. Consistently hitting performance targets, earning relevant licenses, and mentoring newer colleagues signals to managers that you are ready for greater responsibility.
Which industries hire the most mid level financial services representatives?
Mid Level financial services representative roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Banking & Financial Services, and Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive consistent hiring at this level because they rely on experienced representatives to maintain long-term client relationships, navigate regulatory requirements, and cross-sell complex financial products that newer professionals are not yet equipped to handle independently.
