ABOUT OUR AGENCY
Since opening the agency in 2017, we've built a team that believes success comes from taking care of both our customers and each other. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I had the opportunity to play professional baseball in the Kansas City Royals organization. The lessons I learned through sports—discipline, teamwork, accountability, and perseverance—continue to influence how I lead my agency today.
Outside of work, I'm a proud dad who values family and making the most of life's experiences. I love to travel and strongly believe that a successful career should also allow time to enjoy life outside of work.
Our office culture is built around working hard, supporting one another, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We want people to enjoy coming to work while also having the time and flexibility to focus on what matters most to them outside the office. That's one of the reasons we operate on a four-day work week, giving our team more time to spend with family, pursue hobbies, and recharge.
We're looking for someone who is kind, caring, and genuinely enjoys helping others. The ideal candidate is a team player who values relationships, takes pride in providing great customer service, and wants to contribute to a positive office environment. Skills can be taught, but having the right attitude and a desire to help people are what truly make someone successful on our team.

Financial Services Representative Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a financial services representative in Texas?
Most financial services representative roles in Texas require registering with FINRA and passing the Series 6 or Series 7 exam before or shortly after hiring, depending on the employer. Roles that involve selling insurance products also require a Texas Department of Insurance license, obtained through a state-approved pre-licensing course and exam. A bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is the standard educational baseline most Texas employers expect.
Which companies hire financial services representatives in Texas?
Employers hiring financial services representatives in Texas right now include State Farm, Northwestern Mutual, and CHRISTUS Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's concentration of regional bank branches, insurance carriers, and independent broker-dealers means hiring is consistent across the state year-round, not just at peak periods.
Which Texas cities have the most financial services representative jobs?
San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas have the most financial services representative openings in Texas. Houston's energy-sector wealth and large corporate headquarters drive strong demand there, Dallas is home to major bank and insurance company operations that generate consistent volume, and Austin's fast-growing tech and startup economy has created a younger client base that financial firms are actively staffing to serve.
Are there remote financial services representative jobs in Texas?
Yes, though they're less common than in purely analytical roles because the work is client-facing and often requires in-person relationship building. About 7% of financial services representative openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, with most flexibility concentrated in phone-based service roles, insurance renewals, and back-office support functions rather than front-line sales or branch advisory positions.
How can I get hired as a financial services representative in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a client service associate or bank teller role at a large Texas institution such as JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, or Frost Bank, which run structured associate programs that move people into representative roles within one to two years. Obtaining a Texas Department of Insurance license or beginning FINRA Series 6 exam prep before applying signals seriousness and accelerates the transition. Lateral moves from customer service, retail banking, or insurance claims processing are common starting points recognized by Texas hiring managers.
Where can I find and apply to financial services representative jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to financial services representative jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings across Houston, Dallas, Austin, and other markets. Find roles that fit your experience and credentials and apply directly to each one.
