About the RoleThe Assistant General Manager serves as a key member of the management team and works closely with the General Manager and Director of Operations to oversee daily restaurant operations. Responsibilities- Lead daily front-of-house operations with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
- Coach, develop, and inspire service staff to maintain the highest hospitality standards.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Manage labor and staffing levels to support operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain a strong presence on the floor during service periods.
- Address guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally and proactively.
- Support inventory controls, ordering, and operational systems.
- Collaborate with culinary and events teams to execute seamless guest experiences.
- Drive accountability, communication, and teamwork across all departments.
- 2+ years of management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passion for hospitality and team development.
- Wine and beverage knowledge preferred.
- Experience with restaurant management systems such as Toast, 7Shifts, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
